I have Openpli 8.3 installed in the slot 3 of an Edision Os Mio+ 4k. While doing a blind scan on satellite Intelsat 35e at 34.5W, the receiver found all the satellite transponders available on that satellite, then I select all the transponders and after the blind scan is finished I realized that one transponder is missing, the one with the highest frequency. I add the channels of interest to an specific bouquet. I select the bouquet and I can watch the channels of that bouquet. Then, later I try to do another blind scan, but now, just selecting the transponder that was missing before, then the receiver find the channels of that transponder, I add those channels to the same bouquet where the previous channels were added, but then the receiver change the symbol rate of the previous saved channels to the symbol rate of the new found transponder channels and I can not watch the previous saved channels, and a message pop up: "Service not found! (SID not found in PAT).

 

Does anybody know what is happening?

Lyngsat shows 1165 H 30000 SR for the highest transponder on that satellite.  What is the frequency, polarity, and symbol rate of the transponder you are having problems with?
 

The blindscan plugin has filters that can change the symbol rate of a transponder. What are your settings in the blindscan plugin? Maybe post a screencap of the blindscan plugin menu.

The transponder with the problem is KC16 (11646 V 10000 2/3). When I do a blind scan just for this transponder, OpenPli changes the symbol rate of the other transponder (KC6) that is already saved in the bouquet from 30000 to 10000. Attached is the screen capture of the blindscan plugin.

Try:
Disable sync with known transponders = yes
Disable remove duplicates = yes
 

See if those changes make a difference.

I did it, but still doing the same. It is recognizing the channels in transponder KC16 with a symbol rate of 45000. instead of 10000.

 

Is there a way to manually modify the SR on those channels with the wrong one?

 

I thought that could be a problem with the LNB. but I tried with TNAP 4.0 and it works great.

 

What is curious is that this is happening after some transponders changed the SR. For example, transponder KC6 had 30000 in the past and now is 45000 according to Lyngsat.

Is 11646 V the only transponder doing this? Try deleting 11646 V from your satellites.xml.

What does this deleting do to the blindscan or to the receiver?

The scanning will not have a transponder to compare once you delete it. Either delete it or enter the correct symbol rate for it in your satellites.xml file.

That is the one locate at /etc/tuxbox ?? or /etc/enigma2?

 

I checked that file ( /etc/ tuxbox) and the transponder data is Ok. Is there a way to change manually the channels info (Frecuency, SR, FEC, etc..) that were stored in the bouquets?

You can delete the channels for a satellite that you have made a bouquet for, and none of the bouquet channels will work. You can re-scan the satellite and the bouquets will usually work again, provided the transponder information does not change in the re-scan.
 

Probably the best thing to do with problem or non-working channels in a bouquet is to delete them. Bouquet channels depend on the channels in the lamedb file. If the information in the lamedb file changes then the bouquet channels will not work.

Probably the best thing to do with problem or non-working channels in a bouquet is to delete them. Bouquet channels depend on the channels in the lamedb file. If the information in the lamedb file changes then the bouquet channels will not work.

 

 

I've tested different options and images. I've forgotten about bouquets. I just did a blindscan on the satellite selecting only two transponders. With TNAP there is no problem, it seem that this image is capable of differentiate both transponders easily, but with OpenTV and OpenPli, once the transponders are scanned they save the info of both transponders as if they were the same transponder, assigning the same SR to all the channels, then it is no possible to lock the channels with different SR as the one assigned by the image. I think, that what is left is to edit the lamedb file to add the missing transponder info and assign this info to the channels with the modified SR and transponder. Would you have any info about how to edit this file?

Try changing a setting. 
Go to the Customize menu (Menu--->Setup--->System--->Customize). Scroll down and change Ignore DVB-S namespace sub network to "No" as shown in the attachment.  Make this change, delete the problem channels and re-scan before doing anything else.

It might be possible to edit directly the lamedb file located in /etc/enigma2 of the receiver files, but at best doing that will be messy.
 

It would help if you showed us exactly what the problem is.  A blindscan log of found transponders is made every time a blindscan completes. This log is located in the /tmp folder of your receiver. It might help to post that log. OR give at least the correct frequency, symbol rate and polarization of the two transponders you are having problems with along with their channels. But try changing the setting first and see if that fixes it.

I went with a shortcut. Restart with TNAP image, did a blidscan on problematic satellite, saved channels of interest in favorites, flashed OpenPli and when asked "Restore setting". I selected Yes, and Eureka. it got all favorites from TNAP image. Finito!!
