I am disappointed.

I am providing now for over 10 years EPG for Europe. Never asked for something.

 

Now, I will have a problem in the future when M7 will stop using the Seca code.  Only Nagra Cak7 will be supported on their cards.  (According to what I read)

It seems to be possible to use this Nagra code in Oscam on a modified Oscam.

Problem with these:  these have to be compiled.

That can be done with an utitlty (Gorgone, I believe).  But this runs on Linux.

And my Linux PC has died on me.

 

But which one to use from the above?

 

Secondly, I can find compiled oscam versions.  But they never indicate if they are for mipsel or ARM receivers.

I believe they are different.  At the moment I need a mipsel version for a Mutant HD2400 running OpenPLi.

 

Thirdly, some parameters are needed in order to get this nagra decoding to work.

And everybody is very secret about this.  Nobody wants to share this.

Some even answer:  Figure it out yourself....

I can do a lot, but this ia above my paygrade.

 

I am so disappointed by the lack of any help with my problem, that I am considering stopping with providing EPG all together.

If you cam’t compile them yourself, there are a few you can download precompiled. No problem there. But….. you will have to find the requested keys yourself which is no easy task! I’ve managed to get the card in ‘generic’ Nagra which opens quite some channels BUT you also need the nuid and cwpk0 which need to be extracted from a M7 box… This is all overencrypted data and needs (a lot) postprocessing.. In short: I’m only half way there…

Is google to find oscam-CyCeC. Available for both ARM and Mipsel….

 

Another thought…. These cards are over 10 years old. Even if you get it working, how long do you think they will remain in use? In the end they will turn Nagra Merlin off in favour of Nagra MA!

The generic mode which opens the basic channels would already be a solution for me.

I have 2 cards.  A normal one and a second card (for which i pay €2.00/month).

Running this second card in generic mode in Oscam hopefully will open the basic channels.  And let them be the ones I record.

And provide the streams for my TV in the kitchen.  (via fall back tuner).

 

The normal card could be in a white CI module.  These channels are just for watching.

 

If case the CI module and Oscam cannot be combined in one receiver, I have an old VU+ receiver which can be used for this purpose.

 

PS: Problem, I do not own an M7 box.

Even if you did own a M7 box, it would still be a challenge to say the least to get the info out….

The basic package (and Film1) NOW work BUT M7 might decide to use encrypted Nagra mode once they switch off Seca (which is a unencrypted tunnel). Without Seca there’s no need for unencrypted ECM replies any more!

But it seems for the Dutch and Belgian channels you need something special....I do not have the exact details for these extra's and how to extract it from a CI(+) unit or M7-receiver.

You'd better not use unchecked binaries from the internet, they might as well relay your card data to China or something.

 

Better have someone from here compile a binary for you from open source, like the links you mentioned.

No that was also a’half way’ version of Nagra created for HD+ cards. M7 uses the official Nagra structure.

And so we are back to square one.

The standard oscam is not good enough.  You need something special!!!!!

All explained in previous posting… OScam-CyCeC is needed AND you need to search for the extra keys yourself! There is NO public OScam with the M7 keys inside….

Are you sure about OScam-CyCeC? oscam-smod also appears to have a more complete CAK7 implementation. And the source code is available.
