Hi, I have had this problem since I started using openpli. I am currently on the 8.3 version and I am using autoresolution plugin on manual mode. Here is my setup on sd and uhd channels I use 2160p ( on sd to avoid double scaling because skin is blurry on the sd resolution), rest resolutions are matching: 1080i-1080i, 1080p-1080p, 720p-720p. Since I had this problem for a long time I know exactly when this happens: If I watch sd or uhd channels with 2160p resolution for a longer time and I switch back to any of these resolutions 720p,1080i,1080p there will be no sound and to get sound back I need to switch to 2160p because that's the only resolution that still has sound. This is not a rule sometimes it won't happen in a whole day but in 2-3 days it will happen at least once. The weird thing is that this gets fixed randomly by itself by restarting the receiver doesn't fix the issue. The reason this started affecting me more is the fact that I didn't use 2160p on sd channels but 1080p ( I didn't know using 2 scalers was bad) and this is what I will be using to avoid the issue occurring again. Still if I watch uhd channels there is always a probability that this will happen again so it would be nice if this could be fixed.

It's most likely a bug in the manufacturer's drivers. By the way, are these stream channels or dvb?

What is your device for the Sound? TV or AVR? Do you use passthrough or downmix? If downmix did you also activate downmix for AAC?

will test now, file in that folder has extension pyo. Should I rename the file you sent me to .pyo or stay with .py?

If I stay with .py, enigma creates identical size .pyo that I deleted. Is that supposed to happen? If I rename it to .pyo it doesn't create another .pyoStay with .py

What about 9.0 build. Sorry for being not clear enough by "yes it is" I meant that yes/no option is still suitable.
