Is it possible to make some changes?

* No border or same colors with menu color ?

* Picon could be 50% bigger ?

* Infobar thickness maybe 20% wider?

So that we can talk about the same skin version please answer what is your image version and are you using the latest skin version from the image feed or from the skin github releases page?

2. The picon size in infobar is chosen to keep the original picon size because scaling can introduce various artifacts. I'll play around with the picon size and if I don't see any problems with it, I'll increase it.

3. Could you explain more about the infobar thickness. I don't understand what you mean by that.

Image is openPLI RC 9.0 

 

I changed back and bottom png colors using hex color codes to be same colors for menu selected background and infobar.

 

You know Original infobar and menu border color is the same thats why We can not see the border but I prefer  other colors except for black.

 

To fix picon (400x240pixel) on infobar; I changed parameters as width 150*90 and 0-100

 

I think If infobar thickness is 10% wider then Picon and Provider infos more readable.

 

Is there any alternative for second infobar to be nontransparent?

Not about SimpleGrayHD which is the initial version.

 

Would you like selected to be specified not with a different background but with a border?

2) Unfortunately; This time; Infobar color and border color were not appropriate and not fixing. Border must be or not?  I like uniforms colors.

Provider name does not always fit in such a small space… and just my 2cts. Why do you need it (sometimes this info is false for services that are intended for more providers)… and when you want to add it give it sufficiant space…. Skinning is not that easy… I did put the provider in the ‘technical’ 2nd info bar in a flexible location where it can take half the screen with the transponder detailed info. I think this is not really mandatory information. For this skin it is better to but there the channel number

Provider and channel names will always be a challenge.

There are many provider names that are short. I would say everyone what I watch. Therefore, such a text with. But I assume that there can also be much longer names because it is not regulated.

It's the same with channel names. There are providers whose channel names are short, but there are many channels with long names that will not fit right now.

A dynamic text layout can be created, but if both don't fit, which one will have the advantage?

Exactly right...  Maybe 2nd infobar idea for provider is a good thing but Provider is a mandatory for me.

 

In the other hand, 

There is also encrypted channel caid and its provider infos. I suppose This is also valuable  

I remember PLi-DarkOS skin by DimitarCC can show enrypted channel caids.

 

I am familiar with neutrino images.

 

You know in neutrino images;

I can see caid info,provider info and others.

Active caid,provider is looking as green and other passive caids look yellow.

Caid info you can see in the second infobar.

It doesn't seem very important to me, because even if you see which one you use, you won't change it.

To be honest, provider and channel names are not important to me either. I can understand which channel I am watching from its logo without using the infobar. But it seems right to me that they are here.

I've seen modifications of my skins where caid, decoding and all other information are added in the infobar, but I'm not a fan of displaying all possible information in the infobar, because in that case it's all there just to be there.

It is just nice to have the channel name, and the EPG information and some icons... I always strived to minimize it. But even on the basic skin there are still some objects I could not remove because people want them... and before you know you're at the level of x-mass tree again....

This was exactly why the 2nd infobar was invented and with long OK the second second (or better third) infobar.... so when you need more info you can get it with a second OK press... And note this is quickly done...

We like the same things. I have been seen many new skins and its bullshit Poster,chip temperature,ip adress,etc,etc, 

None of my bussiness...

 

but some of usable skin parts must be on 2nd infobar or 3rd infobar invented by littlesat

 

I liked @DimitarCC new skin and @Taapat SimpleGray skin. Before @mrvica PLi-Like.HD skin.

A skin should be absolutely simple,plain and pleasing to the eye!

(Once upon a time i used eycos e95.15hd receiver had signal ossiloscope)

 

Progress bar  (thick if possible)

Picon 

EPG infos (like start and end time)

one question. can i somehow increase the size of the channel list to full mode? is there a special ipk how to edit stuff like this (maybe also font and so on)?

These are versions of releases with names from a commit in which something has been changed.

If you install the package from the github releases page, you need to use the latest version, provided that you are using the latest image version.

 

By the way, this skin is available on OpenPLi image feed.

If you don't need to install the latest version as soon as changes are made, I recommend installing the skin from image feed and update together with the image.

alright. i‘m using the version from the feed in fhd which working great actually. i just thought it is or maybe will be possible to make some customize some details in the future versions of your skins.
