just tried in with a clean install.

I've used this image: https://downloads.op...0231105_usb.zip

During startup the bootlogo is from 4-11-23 (?).

After starting up, i don't have the option to choose the wifi.

Then I start a software-update, plugged in with a cable; it finds 16 packages who I've updated. After a reboot the bootlogo from 5-11 is visible.

Still not the option to choose the wifi. In the plugin setting under drivers I don't see the drivers as well...

Any idea how to get this working? The TP-link adapter is working, when I plug it in the laptop is is found and usable.

Out of the box you won't have the driver, you need to manually install it from the feed.

What WanWizard does is compile the driver so that you have it now available in the feed. OpenPLi is not installing any 3rd party device driver by default in there images.

You're welcome. It will be available in 9.0-release too, once the build is finished.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Just had time to test further. In the last post I could select WIFI, but it is not connecting. The adapter settings went back to a red switch.

When I click on search for wifi networks nothing can be found.

Any idea to solve this?

Ok. So the driver loads and it sees the hardware. I'd call that progress... ;)

It could be the code is too old, and simply adding the USB ID isn't enough. This might be a challenge, as it is difficult to find a codebase that supports every linux kernel between 3.2 and 5.15. I won't have time to look into that that any tome soon...
