But why are you flashing with Backup plugin, why don't you flash it with the standard USB method?

 

Because if I download img from this site pack had only 2 files and missing root_cfe_auto.jffs2 and this is why cant load firmware from USB method.

 

I have third Vu+Duo and I download VTI which has this three files and had no problem with uprage via USB method.

I can see our OpenPLi 4 image has that file, but later versions don't.

 

I did a check, it was removed from the BSP by VU+ in 2017 (https://github.com/O...e7ffd4e5cbe9269), so it isn't the cause of your problem.

 

You are using the exact same USB stick? Formatted with an MBR (GPT is not supported) and a FAT filesystem? And without a "dirty" mark (can be removed by a check of the disk)?

Today or after the new 8.3 and / or 9.0 build the new drivers will be loaded. In the NB they are already loaded.

First of all, thank you very much for your answer. I updated the 9.0 update dated 08.01.2024 from the software update section of my sf8008 device, which is what I always do. This is the first time I encountered something like this. I wanted to update the version dated 08.01.2024 by opening the 8.3 version again, unfortunately I encountered the same constantly rotating screens. Even though the channel order is visible on the device panel, the device remains the same for hours... Thank you very much for the software. I have been using your software on different devices for years.

Now I will have to install it via written USB to get rid of this error, I wish you luck.

I just upgraded my OpenPLi 9.0 from an earlier version which I installed just now, and via the menu updated my image which worked perfect. So I did an update from the image of 24 December to the one from Januari 9th and as you can see this worked ok. It also contained the latest Octagon drivers. As far as I'm concerned case closed. Maybe some fuzzy plugin causes this issue.
