Hi. I finally updated my Zgemma H9 from 6.something to 9.0 and all works well except the headphones jack audio output is no longer active and the current stream quicklink ( http://HOST:40080/current ) doesn't work despite the plugin being installed and I find only "pyc" files for it not the source code. Could anyone help point me towards fixing either of these, please? Trying to use my forum info to login to redmine just now to look for plugin source code resulted in a page saying "Internal error. An error occurred on the page you were trying to access. If you continue to experience problems please contact your Redmine administrator for assistance. If you are the Redmine administrator, check your log files for details about the error."

OpenPLI 9 runs on Python 3 (pyc files), while older images run on Pyhton 2 (pyo files). Plugins need to be compatible, so you need to check manually installed plugins. Those from the feed should be compatible.

OpenPLi images never install source code as standard, for plugins from our feeds, you need to manually install the package with a "-src" suffix to get the source files.

Redmine was never really used, nobody was interested in issue tracking unfortunately...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Thanks for that.

enigma2-plugin-extensions-streaminterface depends on python3-core and has pyc files so I think that bit's OK.

opkg install doesn't seem to find a package with the same name but -src on the end. What am I missing?

If not Redmine, where's the source code, please? I found something on github E2OpenPlugins but it doesn't look quite right to me and I'd expect the openpli copy to at least run.

Any tips or thoughts that can help me?

enigma2-plugin-extensions-cacheflush

Thanks, but I think I found the actual problem!
I removed the box from my Home Assistant and now the memory usage been stable at 34%.
Dont know if HA or Pli has changed anything regarding this, but I can manage without HA...
Hope this can help someone else...

Thanks again. That doesn't seem to include the StreamInterface plugin. Does anyone know where the openpli feed copy comes from, please?

But I've fixed the problem locally: where paths are added as "current" and so on, twisted now seems to require them be added as bytes, so b"current" makes it work.

And does anyone have any idea how to activate the headphone jack audio output again, please? I now have a workaround (use streaminterface to open the box as a stream on the hifi) but it's clunky compared to just hitting the "Line In" button.

It's build from e2openplugins: https://github.com/E...ce/tree/python3. Given the last commit date, it seems quite logical any string vs bytes issue hasn't been adressed.

That requires an understanding of how it could be switched off, and I haven't got a clue.

I've checked my H9.2H, but it doesn't have either a line-out, of a headphone socket, so what box exactly do you have?

The source code I cloned from e2openplugins didn't even run, as it had things like print "ref" instead of print("ref") which I had to fix first. Anyway, if there's no better source, I'll submit a patch there.

Zgemma H9.S, according to Box Info. The socket is on the back, between USB3.0 and HDMI, and labelled A/V. It seems to take a headphone jack, but I think it's line out. It made noises under openpli 6.2 but nothing I can detect under 9.0.

Chances are you've been looking at the wrong branch (of didn't check the branch at all). I explicitly linked to the correct branch (python3).

Odd, as this is the back of the H9.S:

Perhaps a H9.2S (dual tuner model):

It is not a headphone jack, it is an A/V port which combines CVBS video + L/R line audio. You need a cable like this to connect to it (note the 3,5mm plug has 4 connections):

Thanks. I have the correct cable ( but nothing connected to the video part) and it used to produce sound. Sorry for using the wrong term initially.

Ok.

Afaik there is nothing that allows you to configure the output, audio should always be available, video if you select RCA as output.

I haven't got one of these cables myself, so I can't test.

Hello
any image for multiboxpro :)

Besides the Multiboot SE we have images for these two boxes. https://openpli.org/download/maxytec/

No need to post your request more then once.

Maxytec doesn't do multiboxes anymore, they are end of live. The Multibox Pro is sold by Novaler, a brand we don't make images for at all.
