Hi everybody.
I just flashed the v9 on my Vu+ Duo2
I requested backup and restore of my settings and I didn’t find all the plugins installed in v8.3.
I have to reinstall them manually.
So I wonder if all other settings have been restored?
Should we check everything?

I depends on what exactly happended (was nothing installed, or were some installed) and what you mean by manually (from the feed, or ipk's you've downloaded yourself)?
If your network isn't back up in time, or your box doesn't have the correct time fast enough, the autoinstall might fail.
If that happens, you can run the autoinstall manually from the autobackup menu.

I was referring to the network connection directly after a boot.
And if you have configured Enigma to use transponder time instead of NTP (or AUTO), you need to wait until the box tunes a transponder to get the correct time. And without the correct time, you can't download anything, so the autoinstall will fail.
And you can check your autoinstall log (menu - info - about - yellow button) to see if there is anything logged that could point you to the cause.

Never knew about this option: menu -> info -> about -> yellow button and using ">" & "<" to switch between the (log)files.

Hello, hello.
I just made an update and could not make a backup by BackupSuite: backup not successful.
And i have noticed i have no more acces to internet.
I restored my backup from yesterday and everything went back to normal .

Does your backup have a fixed DNS configured?
Because that has changed in 9.0-release, so you need to set it again (see the release notes). If you don't, DNS either won't work at all, or will disappear and the box will lose its connectivity.
As to backupsuite: that usually also tell you why it was not succesful.

Hello, just to let you all know I tried my old xp1000 Flash on the Fly version 9 so far so good, that dinosaur STB never worked better, great work, I thought that STB wasn't gonna work again and it is alive, Thank you all and keep up the good work............TP

As long as you don't try to run an update or install stuff, it must be severely out of flash space now...

No idea, never used it, so I can't comment. I use my XP1000 purely as a internal card server, it runs a custom image with only Oscam, no Enigma.

Now that you mentioned updates, I do have to report that 1 sat KU band Universal LNB gives me no signal, I haven't tried directly without Diseq switch but it worked before, it was 58w C Band, 78.8w KU TP 11880 FTA channels, 30w but it only gives me signal on 58w.........hummmm what did I do wrong?..........TPNo idea, never used it, so I can't comment.
