As mentioned above, it would be possible to try using the Kodi Remote plugin from your android phone.

The Dual driver was updated on 11.9, it is possible that there were changes regarding 'mali'.
Or the rebuild simply doesn't recognize the new driver.

Problem was in the BSP, driver recipe wasn't added to MACHINE_ESSENTIAL so it wasn't added to the image.

So Kodi starts now on my box, but the OK problem is still there, even with the patch from @foxbob above.

I know that it doesn't work that easily and that foxbob unfortunately starts from a different basis.

All versions were tested six months ago, unfortunately without success.
I'm sure that you could use the lirc package here too, but lirc also needs to be implemented in the build.

But I thought it would be much easier and less extensive to look for the error in the e2.
But I don't have the ability to do that myself.

There is definitely a limitation of the error in e2.

This small commit solved the 'ok' problem at the time.
It has been changed again somewhere.

I can't comment either way, I can only do a bit of trial and error testing.

Lets see what Beeker comes up with tomorrow.

That commit has nothing to do with the OK button. The OK button works with and without that commit in E2.

It has actually nothing to do with the remote control (it looks like it is).

It solves an empty listbox,, and with an empty listbox there's nothing to go up and nothing to go down.

I've read everything and never read a confirmation that this commit was the culprit, only maybe, perhaps, might be, could be,

Kodi works with Enigma2 killed too.

Anyway I'll do some test.

And I have some things in mind to test.

I'll let you know.

My statement refers to this comment.

After a lot of work on this plugin, I can't say anything more about it.
If desired, I can divide the patch a little to make it easier to work on.

For Kodi you can use the Mute button as OK button for now.

Maybe you need to re-install Kodi.

This workaround should be in NB now.

NB = Nightly Build...

@Beeker, Good temporary work-a-round...

It is still obvious that the simple 'OK' button cannot be forwarded to Kodi...

I miss the code for the OK button.

libxkbcommon-1.0.3 provides the macros. xkbcommon-keysyms.h

#define XKB_KEY_Right                         0xff53  /* Move right, right arrow */             84

#define XKB_KEY_Mode_switch                   0xff7e  /* Character set switch */
#define XKB_KEY_script_switch                 0xff7e  /* Alias for mode_switch */
#define XKB_KEY_Num_Lock                      0xff7f

I've tried a lot. I had added 0xff59- 0xff5f to XKB_KEY_Ok1.... XKB_KEY_Ok10 and more.

In Enigma2 I found this regarding RC codes, but I don't see a connection.

I also synced everything regarding Kodi with OE-A. I only needed to remove a small patch for ffmpeg, because I can't build with Clang in OpenPLi.

I could solve a few compile errors, but not all so quickly.

buildstatus devekop ;-)

only when it's finished could it be in there.
But it is also possible that it still needs a review.
I don't know if the last rebuild had the patch included.

This is kind of off-topic I guess as we're concentrating here on the OK button not working in Kodi.
