One of our EPG servers is on the blink.

Server: http://rytecepg.dyndns.tv/epg_data/

The server is still running, but some of the files have a length of 0

Other file are broken.

About half the files are OK.

This is obvious not a good situation.

I have removed the LastUpdate.txt file from this server.

The result of this is that EPGimport will skip this server from the downloads.

EPGimport will place a warning in the log that this server is not valid.

So, if you see warning in the log do not be alarmed.

The EPG will be imported from the other servers.

For me you will have to wait some more.

New replacement mainboard has arrived, but it doesn't boot as soon as the second CPU is placed, so the MB is not ok. :(

It is refubished hardware, a replacement isn't available new anymore. Clearly only tested with 1 CPU.

Are you sure the problem is with the motherboard, and not the second CPU?

Yes, I have 4 CPU's of this type and stepping here. They all work individually in slot 1.

The problem is usually that in the past the board has been used without a second CPU, and without a socket protector, causing the socket pins to be damaged. I've had this issue before with another board.

The challenge I now have is that I have only found one other supplier that has one in stock, but can't ship until Monday.
If that also has issues, I need to switch MB model, meaning also new CPUs, CPU coolers and new DIMMs, which is a cost I hadn't budgetted for... And more delays...

Willy,

My server is back up. Turned out I had more damage, also the NIC and HBA needed to be replaced.
