You can't see what on the TV? The Kodi user interface? The UI of the box itself?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes, its like the hdmi output stop and with the web i can see with screenshots that kodi is working. I stop the kodi plugin checking the screenshots and he hdmi works again. Very strange its the only image that works in this way.

I have multiboot opbh and works fine kodi.

There is no crash only when active kodi hdmi output stop. I check to change the hdmi cable and is the same behaviour.

I have a different problem. I tested with a current nightly build.

Kodi starts without problems, but with a weird cracking sound when it cuts the TV. When I close Kodi again, I don't get TV video back, only audio. No image visable in the WebIf  either. And as soon as I try to zap, the box completely locks up, the only thing I can do is use the power switch.

This smells like a driver crash to me.

yes thats exactly happen to me. volume is top up level and no more picture. And if you via web can see the kodi menu and go out of the plugin the picture back but with black screen.  This happen on opbh and was solved with the new kodi version i think 20.2.

Afaik OpenBH is an OE-Alliance image, and our Kodi configuration should be in sync what that.

It could be that OE-A has other / newer drivers, they usually get test drivers, which we only implement stable drivers if provided by the manufacturer.

edit; a quick search shows this is the case, they have received new drivers 3 times, while we recevied the last update on 20221108. So this requries complaining to Octagon.

@Antrabe
I think that some nuance is needed to get it clear what is the truth regarding who does what, how and when.

As we always made clear, is that the driver developers of all manufacturers maintain the BSP. As soon as the drivers are updated in the BSP by the developer we can update those details in our build. No sooner no later.

Obviously the one that replied to your request is not informed by the present management how this works with Openpli. Other teams build their own BSP but we still feel it should be the responsibility of the manufacturer. The name of the person that seemed to have been answered your mail is already retired since 2021. My contact wondered who actually / really answered to your request. That specific person lives in Turkey and has no internet. They should change the name in the male like I just suggested.
The driver developers are about to update our BSP and from the next build after the update we also have the latest drivers. I hope I have cleared this Babylonian confusion of speach. :)

Is the official email in their website. Yes could be used by several octagon users but the access should be by the manufacturer. They develop test and upload the drivers as far as he told me so we should wait. Thanks

I found the solution if i change the resolution to 1080 the picture comes again and works fine. Now only the issue with the button remain OK not works but mute yes. I thinks this 2 issues are easy to solve for the coders.
