I cannot add any usb tuner to the Qviart Dual 4K. Is there any way to fix this with a custom image build or other method?

Have you tried plugging it in?
You really need to provide more information if you want a sensible response, we can't really work with "it doesn't work".
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes. I tried the basic steps of plugging the usb tuner in and loading the drivers. The tuner is recognized in rs232 debug, but it seems vtunerc is missing and the usb tuner is not seen in /proc/bus/nim_sockets.
There is no vtunerc in /lib/moduels/4.4.35/extra. I do not know if this file is needed, but seems the vtunerc should be there.
Sundetk Control Center shows no available slots as shown in the attached screencap. Seems there are no provisions for usb tuners and I was wondering if there is a way for me to add them.

This receiver does not support vtuners.

Would be nice if some of the people selling it would quit advertising it as having usb tuner support!

Need to write to the manufacturer, in general, support for vtuners needs to be added.
