This is clearly EPG for IPTV (illegal or not).
The general problem is that you have to link the EPG tot the service ref of the channel.
IPTV channels have no service ref. But in the bouquet file you can assign a service ref.
This can be either an existing service ref from the channel in question on a sat or cable provider.
This only works when the channel in question is in the lamedb.
You can also assign a complete fake service ref to the channel and link the EPG to that.
This fake service ref should have the correct syntax.
f.i. I have (a legal) IPTV channel: LN24. (a news channel)
The bouquet entry is:
#SERVICE 5002:0:1:1:16:1:32:0:0:0:https%3a//live.digiteka.com/1/bEg0RmFLb1JMYXRI/dGhqbmIw/hls/vmkpb3y5/2628/chunklist.m3u8:LN24
#DESCRIPTION LN24
And I have added in the /etc/epgimport/custom.channels.xml file

5002:0:1:1:16:1:32:0:0:0:http%3a//

For providing the EPG.
This method works always. But is labour-some.
The problem with the automated assignments of EPG with methods like Echannelizer are only succesfull in approx 90% of the channels.
I even tried to write some automated process myself, but could not achieve a better result.
I can try to figure out what goes wrong with your set-up.
Could you provide me the file contained in your /etc/epgimport/ folder.
Also an EPGimport log would be welcome.
You can send me the info via PM.
