Has anybody got experience on diagnosing faults on the LCD screen for an Xtrend ET8500. My one does not power on at all. I don't want to buy a replacement LCD if the fault lies on the circuit board behind the front panel. Is there a way to connect to an Arduino/Pi to test it?

 

The markings on the LCD screen are: GL043036C0-40 and GL043001

Pull out/insert the cable connection to display.

most probably the backlight, you can test in the whole darkness by lightning, shining on it with a hand lamp, if you can recognize something (picture) the backlight is definitely defective
