EPG is linked in enigma2 receivers to the service ref: f.i. 1:0:1:D11F:832:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

IPTV channels do not have a service ref.

When EPG is wanted for these channels the frist thing that has to be done is assign a service ref to each channel.

In the past it was suggested to re-use the existing sat or cable service ref.  This is not a good idea.

This only works if the channel is in the lamedb.

Secondly providers sometimes changes the service ref of a channel.

The linked IPTV channel will go without EPG.

Another problem surfaces when the provider re-uses the service ref for another channel.

The IPTV channel will have then the wrong EPG.

Better is to use a fake servie ref with the correct syntax.

Secondly the correct EPG has to assigned to the service ref belonging to the channel.

This is done in the channels.xml files (rytec for the rytec sources and custom for own definitions)

Again for IPTV this is problem.

Now different utils exist to assign EPG to service refs:  Jedimaker, Xtreamity, eChannelizer.

These utils are never 100% succesfull.  There are always wrong links or channel which no EPG.

The only thing you can do is manually correct these.

I do not have IPTV and do not use Jedimaker, Xtreamity and eChannelizer so I cannot be of much help here.

Better contact the maker of the utility you are using.
