This is now 7.3

It works according to your information.

switch to Version 9.0

But you see the path of the firmware.
The firmware can be easily replaced by overwriting it with ftp and then rebooting.
Reboot.

A more recent version of the firmware may work.

I could also reproduce this, 51.5E 11350H 45000, using OpenVix 6.4

Driver from github does not help, I'm already using it for other purpose.

After updating firmware from post #64 it hasn't happened yet. Worth testing it.

Hi.

It's working, the updaeted source!!! I replaced those files in /lib/firmware/avalink using WInSCP

The 9°E 12466V 16APSK 419502/3 PLS Gold 262140 Multistream Stream 12 OPENPLI 9 is now working. After several hours when I turned ON the receiver all the channels are now working on that frequency. No more "Tune failed". Now I will copy my channels list from OPENPLI 7.3. to OPENPLI 9 so I can make further tests.

Now I have one question, if the driver will work on all SAT like is now working on that frequency, after new updates, the driver I manulay copied, will still work on OPENPLI 9? Or I will have to copy those files after every new update?

Next step is update the BSP in develop, and if that still works, see if we can get it backported to 9.0-release, which might be a challenge as there been quite a few changes to the BSP in the last days...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

It's still working OK. I have installed my channel list, picons, youtube, historyzapselector, softcam. I have to install multistalker and that's it.

I tested 5°W OK and 33°E T2MI OK

It's not a problem.
You could add the updated firmware as a patch in version 9.

In any case, it's good to know that it wasn't the driver, but just the firmware of the tuner used.

Until now all is working OK. I have installed all what I need (multistalker included). The only sat I have to test with high SR is 80°E but now I can't because some days ago some workers went on the roof and accidently they moved my antenna. I have to wait the technician to fix the problem. Right now I reach only 55°E and 14°W instead 80°E - 45°W. Some years ago I reached 61°W (this is maximum from my position)  there was a Venezuelan channel, but this is history… 80°E is also a maximum due to a  hill, otherwise 90°E will be my maximum.

For me it will be the best solution to include in the OPENPLI 9 the driver that is working fine. I hope also for other users will be OK.

Thank you again for all your help!

Thank you very much for your feedback.

It was updated for the Develop (nightly build.
This can also be easily transferred to version 9 and version 8.3 via CherryPick.

Once the restructuring in the BSP layers has been completed, you can also assign the firmware there correctly in terms of version.

But the version number is more cosmetic.
The main thing is functionality.

A possible solution that is recommended is to try to replace the avl6261.ko file with an older version and check again. For this contact the OPENPLI forum in order to inform you further.

Also it is highly advisable to report this issue to the developers of the OPENPLI image that you are using, in order to investigate it further and fix this issue probably in any new update.

currently there should be 6 working versions of avl6261.ko available (solving SR and FREQ range) and 2 version firmware (solution processing modes)

Why is an OE-A commit relevant? We never had this update in our BSP, so no need for a revert.

Strange, I myself saw these changes in OpenPli.

Now they are gone.

Looks like the commits were lost.

Are you sure? The last time Edision updated the BSP was 3 years ago.

Someone committed somethng in OE that bypasses or overrides the BSP (which would be very bad)?
