Can someone please help me to get my box (Vu+ ULTIMO 4K) working with the %sub%?

 

I have in the "top" slot:

Irdeto PC Card - with "skylink ready" logo and irdeto CI+/cslink irdeto/SECURE PLUS HD @SMIT
Smart Card is Irdeto B.V. | IRDETO 01 | PIN: 0000 | 1 006 xxx xxx x

 

Just need it to decode back the TV channels as no back up made

Tried:

opkg install --force-reinstall enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam

/etc/init.d/softcam restart

None of the channels is decoding

Have you checked the oscam log? Is the reader active? Correctly configured? Does it see the card? Does it init the card? Does it show entilements?

For an Irdeto card you likely need to enter some keys… google is a friend here.

I have deleted the OScam DIR and wanted to start from scratch to make sure it is working

rm -r /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu

opkg install --force-reinstall enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam

/etc/init.d/softcam restart

I have found this:

Looks like the NEW OScam files are now located in "/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam"

Uff, No, No, No and No ....

 

I can access the "OSCam Webinterface developed by Streamboard Team" but the amount of settings is sooooo overwhelming ....

 

Where would I find the OScam log?

Nope, the Reader is not enabled, how would I enable it?

The reader info you found looks correct, you can remove the default config and put that in, and restart oscam.

 

And please don't post keys here, it is against the forum rules. I have removed them.

 

use the oscam web interface to manage Oscam, by far the easiest. Point your browser to the (IP of the) box, Oscam should be in the menu at the bottom left.

Crash course in OScam setting, While others looking at black screen bit unhappy about my c***** up .....

 

so just in case there was something wrong there I have done the following

rm -r /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam
rm -r /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu

Reading about the card, my is the one that decoded SkyLink programs

and did not decode programs from the M7 Group.

Hi. For Czech/Slovak - Skylink cards you need more. Unfortunately, for the new Irdeto Layer-2B encoding system to work in Oscam, you need a modified Oscam, as the standard Oscam build does not support it. Second, your current Oscam configuration contains many inconsistencies (bugs). Thirdly, for this modified Oscam, you additionally need some suitable settings :-/ .

I can't imagine there's any law who forbids to share oscam packages.

Open-Source ? :-D No... Oscam with Irdeto Layer-2B was modified for private purposes and probably for money (I don't know). This is a modified Oscam for a small group of people. I don't want to attach it here, because the source code is not free available on the internet and I'm also not the author of this Irdeto Layer-2B modified Oscam code.

 

Why the original author did not add Irdeto Layer-2B support directly to Streamboard is a mystery to me .

So the idea is you 'steal' the code from the internet, add something of your own and then suddenly become the owner of the entire code?

The modified binary Oscam file works very well and is from a reliable source.

 

You don't have to tell me this nonsense about who steals and who doesn't steal the code. I did not steal or pay for this updated code, but I do not intend to share it publicly. Only privately (I wrote to the user in question a long time ago). :-P

 

I noticed in the first question from the interviewer, that maybe it is a paired card with a hardware CAM module (into the CI+ slot) and in that case everything must work at the hardware level without SoftCAM (Oscam). Um... :-/

As long this Irdeto code is hidden in a dark reliable secret... we cannot offer it in our Oscam available for downloads. Then you need to get it somehow secretly via PM... That's a fact!

boxkey and rsa must have real values entered, otherwise the card does not work correctly
