Hallo Community,
ich habe über die Feiertage meine vuuno4k auf 9.0 upgedated. Nun fiel mir auf, dass bei manuell angelegten Timern aus dem EPG oder Sofortaufnahem der Österreichischen und deutschen ÖR die VPS-Einstellung nicht mehr standardmäßig aktiviert ist. Meine Einstellungen im VPS-Plugin:

 

 

Ich benutze VPS auf OpenPLi seit mindestens 10 Jahren über diverse Releases hinweg. Ich habe nach dem Update VPS de- und wieder installiert. Das Plugin selbst funktioniert, d. h. es reagiert auf die PDC-Signale, wenn ein Timer VPS akitivert hat.
Bei Timern aus dem Plugin "AutoTimer" ist VPS aktiviert.

Es kann sein, dass dass die automatische Aktivierung von VPS bei manuellen Timern schon vor dem Update auf 9.0 nicht mehr funktioniert hat. Mir ist es erst jetzt aufgefallen.

 

Hat jemand eine Idee, was die Ursache für dieses Verhalten ist und wie man den Fehler korrigieren kann?

Das ist ein Fehler im OpenPLi 9.0

Dieses Verhalten veranlasste mich gestern auf 8.3 zurück zu gehen - glücklicherweise funktioniert das.

 

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass in 9.0 die Option VPS im Timerdialog nicht vorhanden ist, wenn man aus dem EPG programmiert. Sie ist nur bei „Timer ändern“ vorhanden.

 

Ob das am VPS Plugin oder der Basis liegt weiß ich nicht.

Ich hoffe, das hilft.

I don‘t know, I only use public releases.

Last I tested was from 1. Sept. 2024

After install and restart GUI it is for first timer displayed, in next creating it missing ...

It seems, several imports in code are in py2. I will see on it.

You can try if it will be works now.

Copy this .py file to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/vps/ , then restart GUI and then remove this Modifications.py file

 

 

I am not using this plugin long years ... problem is that the box must always be on the channel/transponder where PDC is being broadcast. If the box is on a different channel (where PDC is not broadcast) and the event is rescheduled, the plugin has no way of detecting it and will only switch to the channel at the time originally set by the timer. As a result, I've often missed recordings.
