I'm trying to use this USB WiFi,
FU-AX5400
but it consists of two parts,
a USB disk and a USB WiFi.

Is it possible to switch it to WiFi right away?

Those sticks are always a bloody pain, even on a standard linux desktop distro.

You need to use usb-modeswitch, which can switch the modes when the box boots, it is in the feed but I have never used it on a box, I used it a few times with GSM/3G sticks, it requires a lot of internet searching.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Disk device dected as sr0

It is a CD emulation, most likely containing installation software. Typical Windows junk...

Cool.

Next challenge is finding a driver for it, I don't think we have an 8832CU driver in the image.

I have added the RTL8852CU driver to the develop build, for testing. which does support this USB ID.

Build still has to start, so you have to wait until both the current build and the next build is finished.
