The modules usually don't allow that (at least not the one that are given to end users).

Simultaneous decoding is allowed only on ONE channel normally. So i doubt someone will make it work if the module doesn't support it.....

thanks for reply dimitar

i wish i had of known this before i purchased, cant belive its not simultanious decoding, no where in their publicity do they mention this !!!!!!!!

It is very common with CI modules, one channel to watch live, recording should be done encrypted to CI restrictions can still be enforced when playing the recording back (requires hardware that that do this!).

Some CI modules support two channels (but still restricted to the same transponder), there is an option in the CI menu to enable that, so you can test it (by default it is set to auto, which requires the CI module to indicate it is capable).

Only professional modules don't have channel restrictions (for use in headends), but are still restricted to one transponder per module.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
