Also, after the reboot the box stopped loading. Not a single firmware is loaded. If the flash drive has firmware it offers to flash the receiver. For a very long time there is an inscription on the screen Updating rootfs and the inscription can be visible for about 1 hour. But the receiver still does not start.I made a start log via putty, but I can’t force start the firmware when I click on CTRL-C the log doesn't stop.

The eMMC used as flash has bought it. Or the circuitry connecting it has been damaged. Either way, you get I/O errors when reading it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Can you now use it as a flower stand? There is no way to restore it programmatically?

And if you use the program BroadbandStudio3?

I/O errors are usually hardware errors, either of the storage medium itself, or from the cables / controllers connecting them.

Assuming the eMMC memory chips are soldered on the mainboard, repair, if possible, will require someone skilled.

The challenge is also that since you can't get it to boot, you can also not start any tools to further diagnose the problem.

If it was a matter of (a few) bad block(s) than a flash would have taken card of that, the eMMC controller would detect and rewrite it. But only if there are still replacement blocks available. Given the fact you tried to flash again, which failed to write the rootfs, I fear the eMMC is damaged.

You should be able to get to the bolt prompt by aborting the bootup. Bolt in itself is perfectly capable of booting an OS from a USB stick, I think the old Barry Allen multiboot plugin also utilized that. But I've never done it.

You might want to ping @Aliraza63

I did this, the firmware starts and for about 40 minutes there is a message on the receiver screen - Making File System, then Updating rootfs and nothing happens.

The only thing I can't stop is Bolt.
