Don't think so. I did not see provisions for easily swapping tuners easily when I installed the interval SSD in my SF8008 Supreme.

You think so and I am sure you can’t replace the tuners. These are different models. :)

From a technical point of view,
Are different printed circuit boards used in these two models, Or are the same boards used with different tuners. My line of thinking is technically the tuners could be swapped providing the same board is used, and providing the proper tools are available to swap the parts. :)

Different mainboards, the tuners are part of the mainboard, the tuners are soldered on it, not swappable tuners.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Hi,

Have a look at AB Com Pulse 4K, I am really happy with this box.

Pr2

but it seems that this box has only DVB-s2 tuner . I need one with 1xdvb-s2 and 1x dvb-T2

This box has a slot of a second tuner. So it exists in combo:

I'm personally happy with the Octagon SF8008 Combo (get the Supreme, its wifi is blazing fast!)

Hello @WanWizard,

I allow myself to quote you on this. I currently have a VU+Duo4KSE with one DBV-C tuner and looking for another less expensive solution. Is this Octogon supreme have a CI card reader ? I saw it has a CA reader but I am not techy enough to know if it is the same. For info, I have a paid subscription at VOO provider and have put a card from their box into the VU+ and it works OK (except I need to put it back every 2 months to get updated rights)

Many thanks in advance for your time,

GS

Yes, it has 1 card reader, on the side of the box.

I don't have it in use, I have all my cards connected to an old XP1000 with I use as cardserver for all boxes in the house (so I can test, flash or update without losing any cards).

You could do the same between the new box and the VU+, so you don't need a second card.
