Hello,

the title says it all.

 

I installed the plugin fastchannelchange via plugin menu.

 

But I find no FCC config in the menu.

 

I hoped that because the giga has a Broadcom chip  that FCC could work?

It was made for vu+ as far I know. And really helpful it isn’t at all.I have no idea if it is compatibele at all and/or gigablue does support it within their drivers. As far Intemember the option should be in the context menu (blue button)

Only VU+ support.

 I can't find an option under the blue button. 

I tried to google if FCC is  possible with Gigablue.

 

Some giga Users say "yes" and some say it is  VU+ only.

 

 I also read that most Users find that the feature FCC is overrated, but I have to admit I love the "under 1 sec " chanel change  performance on a Vu+.

Fcc continuously enable multiple tuners and eg the Dutch canaldigitaal card will go into punishment mode due to it. For fta it is fine, but for power consumption tuning multiple channels for fcc is also not a good idea. It would at least be helpful that the pretune disabled itself after 5 min or so… and disable it for encrypted channels when needed for specific caids or channels
