Hello again to everyone, lookin forward to your help, if any))
Not long ago I bought a unicable lnb and installed it to a position on my x16 diseqc. I have no problems with zapping but unfortunately when I tried to view 2 channels simultaneously I couldn't do it because of a "tune failed" message. To be more precise, the one channel plays for sm seconds, then the other one plays while I'm getting the tune failed msg and so on.
Do I have to download the “satellite equipment control” plugin and play* with it? [again- I do not have any problems while zapping, the tune failed is displayed when I try to view 2 channels from the unicable lnb sat is installed on]

*PS.: I've read smth about 'unicable delay after enable voltage before switching command' , is this it, or I'm gonna ruin everything else?? Attached File  IMG_20240429_00.jpg   77.38KB   5 downloads

I assume you have configured all tuners this way, and have used a different user band for every tuner?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

No I use it only for 1, my main tuner. I bought it cause I wanna watch simultaneous some H & V frequencies... which unfortunately I cannot do using my vu+ leaf tuners & universal lnb

Yep, this solved

Is there a solution?? Using stable 9 image.

How can you "view 2 channels simultaneously" on this LNB when you have configured only one tuner?

Unicable lnb: allows to connect up to 32 satellite receivers over a single coax cable.
Am I missing smth??
Moreover this lnb has only one output...

I think you don't understand how Unicable works.

With Unicable, the cable has been split into 32 User Bands each with its own dedicated frequency. One for each tuner (not receiver !). So tuner A has a userband, tuner B has a different user band, and so on.

One userband = one transponder, so if you want to tune a second transponder, you need to configure a second tuner.

Due to the fact you use DiSeqC cascading however, you are limited to a single tuner, because DiSeqC requires ownership of the complete cable (and frequency range), so the cable can't be shared with other tuners...

edit:

What you could do is connect your x16 DiSeqC switch to input A, and use a second cable to connect the Unicable LNB directly to input B.
You can then define tuners C-H as connected to B, and give each a unique UB. Then you can watch/record 7 transponders in parallel from that position.

So I messed up the whole thing and fall into their advertisement lol

Interesting, post the debug log.

If you could tell me how to do this, I'll be happy to provide so.

The advertisement was probably ok, nothing wrong with the LNB.

The problem / limiting factor is your diseqc cascading and the fact you have 15 switch positions connected to the same tuner that require the entire cable, which can't co-exist with Unicable.

If you could tell me how to do this, I'll be happy to provide so.

Using FTP or CIFS, connect to the box, and check /media/hdd, /home/root or /tmp for enigma2 log files.

Believe me I've connected it to my motorized dish [aka tuner B] but the multistream at 5W were comin in pixels 12732 V Stream 1 (the rest of the channels werw Ok though I don't know why)
And also the biss from 15w were not working at all. So I changed it back...
I thought the DiSeqC wouldn't be a limitation.

So, to be concluded :D Unicable1&2 lnbs cannot be used with DiSEqC 1.0&1.1 am I right??

But still I don't understand, how come and I can play 2 or more channels simultaneously with a universal lnb using the so called leaf tuners ([diseqc 1.1] only V or only H) and with this unicable inverto model I cannot - getting tune failed messages every 2"

GT8k

Can you explain your tuners settings a little more?

Show a screenshot from the list of tuners.

It looks like we have some kind of error in the E2 code in the case of your non-standard configuration.

Tuner A is on diseqc 1.1 mode. [see 1st post there is a screenshot]
But now with debug mode I've only tuned to 9e (euronews) and then all the errors of "lock failed" come from 16e and unicable lnb when I was trying to play pip 2 channels, one from 11262H & 11149V and the other time 11149V & 11055V

I don't know if you need more info I can upload screenshots...

BUT if I change the unicable to universal I can view H /or V (of course) without any problems.

PS.:Tuner B is 30w-75e

need another user band for Unicable

You mean I should try to change in setting the band from 3 to 1 [for eg.] and check these particular channels??

My lnb only provides
2040 MHz
1680 MHz
1420 MHz
1210 MHz

I'll check your pm later in the evening.
Thank you for your time!

Tuner C, D, E, F... are virtual tuners [aka leaf tuners]
You configure only A & B (if so) the rest supposed to be configured automatically..(?)!
