Hi zusammen,

Inverto IDLU-32L412-UNBRR-OPN Unicable 2/Jess LNB

Verkabelung: Inverto LNB - Inverto LNB Power Injector dazwischengeschaltet - SAT Dose 1 OG - SAT Dose 2 EG - SAT Dose 3 EG (Ultimo 4k & LG 77C1 Tuner) - SAT Dose 4 OG (Vu+ Duo2).

FBC automatic = Internal loop through.
FBC automatisch = Interner Durchschleifgang.

Do you have one or two FBC cards? i,e 2 or 4 connection points? A picture of Menu > Information > About would be good clarification.

Sorry to ask. Are you sure that you have not re-used the same SCR band on the other devices connected to the LNB? All devices connected to a unicable LNB must have a unique SCR.

Hey Abu,

not sure if you understood all of the german above correctly, so I'll try my best in english to answer your questions.

I have two FBC cards in the Ultimo4k, only one card is connected with one Sat cable, since I don't need any more tuners.

From what I understood reading the Wiki and Forums, the PLI settings differ from the ones of VTI that I was used to. Correct me if I am wrong ...

Tuner A - First physical FBC Card/Tuner

Tuner B - Second physical FBC Card/Tuner (As mentioned above, not connected, that's why I don't have it configured)

Tuner C-H (virtual "Leaf" Tuners of my first FBC card ... correct?)

I'll attach the tuner config from settings below ...

Regarding your SCR question, yes I am pretty sure that no SCR / Channel is in double use. I just double checked this again. It's the same SCR Config that I used before on the VTI Image without any problems. As mentioned in my original post, that the Sat Signal seems to suddenly vanish, while watching a channel (not when switching a channel) for no reason on all tuners, physical and virtual. Signal Finder e.g. also shows no signal on any of the configured tuners when this happens. Only thing that helps as of now is to reboot the box.

Also, described in my original post .. the lnb seems to work fine, since my also attached integrated TV Tuner in my LG Oled keeps working just fine when my Sat Signal dies on the Ultimo 4k with OpenPLI.

On VTI, they do daisy chaining.
Bei VTI führen sie Daisy-Chaining durch.

I don't know what the fast diseqc option is. Hopefully someone will confirm what it is for. Tuner configuration looks correct for signal wire being attached to Tuner A. Top slot of tuner in slot A
Oberer Steckplatz des Tuners in Steckplatz A

Understood, but I am pretty sure that it's not a total misconfiguration of my Tuners.

Again ... this "tuning failed" error appears out of no where, after days of use without any problems even doing 4 parallel recordings is not a problem. But if the error occurs ... the whole tuner including all virtual tuners are "dead".

If it was configuration error, issue would occur all the time. Possibility is loose connection or splitter faulty.

Well, that still wouldn't explain why the error didn't occur with the VTI Image I was using just a couple of weeks ago ...? And also why does a reboot of the box cure the issue immediately?

Install OpenPLI develop image

[unicable] fix number 'ub' when close tuner

As mentioned in my original post, that the Sat Signal seems to suddenly vanish, while watching a channel (not when switching a channel) for no reason on all tuners, physical and virtual.

Is only one tuner being used at this point?

That is, there is no parallel recording/streaming/PiP?

Hey,

yes only one Tuner in use, most probably Tuner A. No matter if watching FTA or an encrypted PayTV HD Channel. Happened on both. No parallel Streaming or PIP.

Develop would probably be the last option, but how stable is the dev branch? I would not want to fix that error by "buying" a couple of others ...

Splitter (splitting signal between Ultimo 4K FBC Tuner and LG Oled integrated Tuner) is the same for years, never caused problems. And what do you mean by "loss of connection"? As mentioned above, when the error occurs on OpenPLI I can switch to internal LG TV Tuner which continues to work just fine ... so the "connection" or Sat signal in general is still delivered by the LNB.

Use VU+ multiboot.
