No clue, never seen telnet not working in all my almost 20 years active for PLi.

Installed something manually ( as in not from our feeds ) that broke xinetd?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I don't know of anything in an update that could break telnet. If it was, the forum would be on fire from everyone complaining.

If I were you, I'd plug in some local storage if you don't have that, go the Flash Image in the menu, and flash the box again, with a backup. And you'll be up and running again within 10 minutes.

Why do you need DCC for these days?

We do not see any help here… so we are not aware of what solved it. in addition I use putty and normal explorer so no need for a special tool.
