FYI might be worth to update oscam to version ≥11800 ?

Reason is this would help Fransat PC7 card owners wishing to watch more than the standard Fransat channels, i.e. channels requiring emm to get written on card.

Before this version, oscam does not write emm on this card, so some users need time to time to put their card back in a cam to acquire new emm.

Ref:

- Fransat is on Eutelsat 5.0°W.   Broadcasting channels in French language.

- Wiki   'The OScam version will only be updated when there is a reason for it'   https://wiki.openpli.org/Softcam/OSCam

Thanks :)

For which OpenPLi version ?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi WanWizard,

You are so quick :)

Personally I am using latest stable = Release-9.0.

That would be a good start ?

That's fine.

I already installed it locally and won't be able to update from feed for a while.

But as it helped me to open some channels, I thought it might be beneficial to some other OpenPLi users too.

Hence above post.

Thanks for your support.

Hi WanWizard,

Did you also update develop? I am interested in the latest OScam but I am using develop as you know.

Thanks

Develop isn't pinned, it always builds from HEAD.

Thanks a million for the update.

If you have time, please try to fix the warning Missing dvbcsa ecm headers during build in the log

Thanks again for the update.

We don't make oscam, so for changes to the web interface, you'll have to ask the oscam developers.

And from what is that the output, I have never seen that before?

WanWizard you are right of course about the changes to the web interface.

The oscam-emu log is from the latest 2.24.07-11800-802 enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam_git10711+570851f-r0.0_armv7ahf-neon.ipk with default oscam-emu settings on a vu duo 4k with openpli 9.0.

All oscam-emu dependecies are installed including libdvbcsa1 but according to the warning the missing dvbcsa ecm headers are not found during the build of oscam-emu.

I can't receive satellites with streamrelay to check if the other warning of ECM processing via Streamrelay does not work! is valid.

Thanks again for taking a look.

That in itself is quite special, because nothing has been updated in that version in recent weeks, except for a small adjustment, but it seems to me that this will cause everything to stop working.

So you will have to provide a little bit more information than just the comment that the emu stops working after 1 minute

Tech ... thank you for reply

In fact, i don't know if Oscam emu has been updated or not, but what i noticed is that it no longer works after yesterday's update, and today's update did not solve the problem either.
I mean the channel freezes after 1 min and does not work until softcam is restarted. it works for a minute and then stops , you have to restart the softcam every min

thank you all

Can you provide more information about the OpenPLi version used and which Oscam version you have in the box?
It also might be interesting to know with which STB you experience these problems....

On which channels/provider are you experiencing those freezes?

Are we talking about the same problem (dany and bertwit60)?

This is about oscam in release images, not in develop (which can always be instable, as is builds oscam from HEAD and they could have committed something that breaks it.
