Hi,

I've a Zgemma H7s receiver with these tuners available :

Tuner A Si2169D (DVB-S2X)

Tuner B Si2169D (DVB-S2X)
Tuner C Si2168 (Combiné DVB-C/T2)
Tuner D SCEH-0036 (DVB-T)
Tuner E SCEH-0036 (DVB-T)

Tuners D and E comes from a Sony PlayTV USB add-on unit.

Everything works flawlessly except for some channels which are DVB-T2 and that tuners D and E (which are only DVB-T) cannot decode.

So my question is : is it possible to assign these channels to tuner C exclusively ?

Regards

No, that is a feature that doesn't exist (same for DVB-S and DVB-S2, or MPEG2 vs MPEG4).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Are there still dvb-t and t2 transponders on the air at your location?

Aaah clear looks they still have ancient dvb-t over there…. That enigma2 issues a ffff eeee dddd hack here to get dvb-c/t/atsc hacked is not helpfully here.

Same for me (I receive dvb-t channels from France and dvb-t2 from Belgium).

Could this feature be added in a future release ?

Not easily…. Solution is have dvb-t2 tuners only… the complete tuner finding stuff in enigma2 is not ‘designed’ for this. For enigma2 this is a kind of ‘deep exception’….

Something wrong if the DVB-T tuner is being selected for T2 transport streams. Entries in lamedb must be wrong. Correct those and it should no longer happen.

@huevos…. What if the first C tuner is occupied by t1… and then you want to tune a t2

Same as with s/s2/s2x, it should select the least capable tuner first.

Slow zap for CI

https://forums.openp...dpost&p=1479636

The Slow zap plugin allows for splitting channels or services between two tuners. I realize that is not what it was originally designed to do, but that is what I have used it for.

For example, I have two ATSC usb tuners C & D connected to two different antennas. The Slow zap plugin will allow me to assign ATSC channels to each of these tuners as needed.  If I have ATSC usb tuner C using an antenna aimed West, then I can assign the channels that are viewable to the West to use tuner C and have the other ATSC channels use usb tuner D.  No other plugin that I know about allows this.

Hi,
I just tried the SlowZap plugin.
It works when I watch TV directly from the Zgemma, but it doesn't work via Network (VLC).
Perhaps I'm missing something.

Sounds like slowzap does not ‘interfere/hack’ streaming.

Hi,

I apologize, the plugin works even in streaming mode.

Many thanks to Dimitrij for introducing this plugin here, and to the community for your help.
Everything is working fine now.

Sounds like the less feature dvb-t tuner is selected by default…so why do we need slowzap here?
