The plugin needs to be resolve it so it stores everything what is in the service ref without an additional filter.
similar discussion we´ve had here, this plugin stores services in a .xml file so that IPTV services are stored as well

Tested.
Work fine.
Delete
/etc/enigma2/AutomaticVolumeAdjustment_volume.conf
/etc/enigma2/AutomaticVolumeAdjustment_services.conf
Replace AutomaticVolumeAdjustment.py and restart GUI debug mode.
See all entry [AutomaticVolumeAdjustment] in your debuglog.

Done as above.
No result.
In the debug file the entry's for [AutomaticVolumeAdjustment] for 5002 services and Fallback services are nicely recorded.
No sign however of anything for a 4097 service. Only remark is that they are playing.
But nothing for [AutomaticVolumeAdjustment].
Edit:
The test is executed on the Maxytec Multibox SE which has another player (HiSilicon player)

The 5002 streams are perfectly volume adjusted.
The 4097 do nothing (except playing)

Further news.
Tried the above on the Mutant2400.
And everything worked as expected. Volume was adjusted also for the 4097 streams.
The problem on the Maxytec is probably related to the Hisiliconplayer.
Will be using the 5002 (exteplayer3) on the Maxytec for the time being.

Maybe the volume adjustment is not implemented in servicehisilicon....
So it doesn't do nothing.
Possible.
At least I stop trying any further. Will live with the exteplayer3.

Maybe the volume adjustment is not implemented in servicehisilicon....
So it doesn't do nothing.
Chances are.
Virtually nothing is implemented in servicehisilicon, only the bare necessities needed to play a stream...
It's been reported to Mutant and Zgemma multiple times, but no action whatsoever.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Last test if you are interested.
Seems that you fixed it also for the Hisilicon player.
And for the completeness, I also tested it on the mutant which has the normal gstreamer player. Works also.
Many thanks.
I think the commit can be merged.

And with downmix to stereo pcm selected? That is mandstory to regulate volume in most cases.
That is required for this particular setup.
The box is mainly used as radio, with 2 Bose speakers directly attached to the Audio connector.
The attached TV is mostly not switched on. Only when used as a TV.
PS: I am using internet radio, because the FM reception is poor where I live. (An outdoor antenna improves things)
Now DAB+ is better, but when I created this set-up, DAB+ did not exist yet.

Works on both the Hisilicon player and gstreamer.
Great work. Although I do not know what the difference is between this and the previous version.
