Installed a clean image openpli-scarthgap-h9combo-20250401 and started to customize from scratch led settings manually but there is no record of settings on the main screen. poltrgates what kind of

attachicon.gif 1.jpg

although settings are created in etc/enigma2/M3UIPTV

That is something that crashes during plugin initialization. I need a log so to fix that. Also is it happens on scarthgap only?

I can confirm this that you add a server and nothing appears.

And why using xml… couldn’t we consider using the enigma config system instead?

No i dont agree. Enigma config the most unstructured thing i have ever seen. Not plan to use that for such a complicated config.

As @WanWizard said better JSON if XML is issue. But i dont see problem with XML if it is written correct.

It's not only on scarthgap on Develop the same for stable I can't say anything because I don't use it.

I don't think that the log will say anything, because as I wrote above, if in the settings just by pressing the green button add provider and enter the data, then when saving they are not displayed in the window, but the settings in /etc/enigma2/M3UIPTV in the file providers.xml they are there.

And of running a development image. Don't if you don't build yourself and you know how to fix issues like this.

This is a bug that has already been fixed, but no new scarthgap build has run since.

Well i can not say anything without to try with your credentials.

If it says timeout that means it cant communicate with the server itself.

But i can not say what is the problem without to try it.

If you like send your credentials for Xtream Codes on personal message and i will try.

Without that i cant say anything...

Handling M3U playlists in Enigma can be frustrating, especially when URLs change frequently due to security measures like hashing. Many users struggle with this, even with paid playlists, because Enigma often requires an external player to handle dynamic links effectively.

To solve this, I developed a plugin for OBH and OpenViX. It reads the playlist and creates bouquets with aliases linked to the playlist and specific channels. If the playlist updates but channel IDs stay the same, the bouquets don’t need manual adjustments. This saves time and keeps streams working smoothly.

The plugin still needs refinements, like better channel ordering and EPG mapping, but it already works well for most M3U and M3U8 lists. If you've faced similar issues, this approach might simplify your IPTV setup.

No offence but that was already handled in the plugin in which thread you posting in. And the plugin works in OBH, OpenATV, Egami, OpenViX and OpenPli all together

So its a bit not correct to post it here where it actually works. ;)

Besides you seems to reinvent the wheel (if it is not copy-paste work)

What is the plugin name? Where is the repo?

That must be known since regardless of that we are in opensource world there are license agreements that should not be violated.

Add a functionality to zap through live streams without adding the live services to the user-bouquets.... And also have an option there to change to a list.

What do you mean zapping? Zapping means change channels. Or do you mean navigate e.g. fwd? Because you can't do that in a live stream because, well, it is live. Or do you mean VoD, which this plugin already handles without the help of user bouquets.

And live streams are fine in user bouquets, it is VoD that should not be there. PLi should remove the hack that allows navigation of VoD to discourage people making user bouquets with VoD.

I mean Live-TV... now you create user bouquets and you get all of them... What I suggest is just browse through them (via an alternative channel selector) via the plugin and not create the bouquets... and e.g. from there have the capability to 'install' the bouquets you like in the normal list... So also live TV streams without the help of user bouquets...

PLi should remove the hack that allows navigation of VoD to discourage people making user bouquets with VoD.

->

In between this is already removed... but bring partly back when the user want it back (toggled via long exit). This was indeed an annoying hack that numberzap was disabled for 'streams'
