I also have problems with recording multiple programs since the beginning of December. I wrote about that at the Dutch forum yesterday (http://forums.openpl...leem-vu-ultimo/).

In my case it is a problem to reproduce the problem. If a programme is recorded and before that programme ends two other programs start recording, I often have the problem that the recorded channels have bad video: the video is shown 2 seconds, stops a second, is shown 2 seconds, stops a second, etc. If I watch the programme life that is currently recorded I see the same behaviour. If this happens and I try to zap TV programmes, the VU+ Ultimo freezes completely: I cannot do anything.

Do you have the same behaviour?

If I restart the Ultimo, the recording of the two channels continues without problems.

Last week I installed the firmware of December the 6th and did not have the problem since, but my kids recorded less channels simultaneously last week.

BTW: I have a VU+ Ultimo with two sat tuners and two Canal Digitaal cards inserted (one is for vacation).

Nu nog hopen dat er een elegantere oplossing komt voor ext4 en cifs, anders moet ik steeds weer deze handelingen doen wanneer ik een nieuwe image flash .

Vandaag mijn VU+Ultimo geflashed. Na het flashen heb ik het probleem dat de harde schijf niet gelezen wordt waardoor o.a. de autoinstall niet uitgevoerd wordt.

Na het uitvoeren van:

opkg update

opkg install kernel-module-cifs

opkg install kernel-module-ext4

init 6

wordt de schijf gezien en kan ik mijn instellingen herstellen. Ik had nog even gehoopt dat mijn autoinstall gelezen zouden worden naar herstel naar fabrieksinstellingen, maar dat is helaas niet zo.

Is er een manier om autoinstall alsnog uit te laten voeren? Ik wil liever niet alle plugins met de hand installeren.
