I'm not a python programmer and don't understand much of the antilogo plugin. But a nice feature would be that the files on wich anti-logos are to be displayed could be described with pearl regular expressions so that wildcards are allowed.

 

for example, all my "breaking bad" recordings on the duch channel  have the very high contrast logo of "vpro" in it. they all have the name "breaking bad" in the filename. Very nice for my plasma tv...

 

If anyone feels free to modify the plugin, just let yourself go.

I usually look into an image with modprobe mdtram and ubi or with nandsim and ubi on my linux PC before I load it up my DM.

 

nfidump can't extract the ubi root filesystem. maybe there are alternatives?

 

the boot partition is still jffs2 as I see. (because SSL can't read ubifs probably)

Where can i find information on where I can set kernel parameters for the vu+uno kernel booting?

Are there tools available on how to extract root filesystem, boot filesystem, second stage loader if applicable, specific for vu+uno?

I want to learn more on how the image is glued together specific for vu+uno.

I have a dm8000 where I find the second stage loader very handy to play with parameters via telnet, but apparently the vu+ doesn't have such a menu ? or is it a config via serial line?

Are there ways to boot up the kernel from a usb stick partition and mount root file system also from a partition on the usb stick?

9 van de 10 keer loopt het opstarten goed. Maar soms, bij opstarten uit deep standby heb ik het volgende voor : schermpje blijft dream logo tonen en enkel de powerknop vooraan kort even indrukken en daarna reboot hij terug goed.

In bijlage de soft lockup.processor zit vast voor telkens 22 of 23 seconden.deze is genomen met seriele connector bij het opstarten.

driver probleem? in openpli 2.1 nooit voorgehad. 't was toen natuurlijk een oudere kernel.

Iets aan te doen?
