Hi,
has anybody tried rebooting the box on a regular basis? I have programmed several timer.
1. set my box in deepstandby at 1:30am
2. set my box to standby at 6:45am
3. set my box to deepstandby at 7:45am
4. set my box to standby at 4:45pm
If it help it also has the bennefit that you save around 104KWh whith the equivalent of €26/year in Germany.

Hi,
for older driver you need an image with kernel 2.6 which must be dated around november or start of december last year.

Hi sanal,
there is a closed part (a .so file) so if it is not running on 3rd party images no one beside VU+ can fix it.

Hi Carl,
nobody said that it is not working on the UNO/DUO. If you have the flash space to install it then it will work.

2. The ipks in web.zip are compiled on wednesday for a kernel 3.1.1 image and the libs used in that images. IPK has nothing to do with kernels only with the libs used.
3. arora is open source why not develop it further?

1. UBIFS uses larges pages/sectors so every little file uses more memory in flash then with old kernel 2.6. So if you have a lot of files more memory is wasted.Don't see why UBIFS is a problem. The ipk are made for kernel 2.6.18. Build for kernel 3.1.1 and it will work.
Arora development is stopped and therefor I think when they stick on arora that they don't plan to add HBBTV ever.
