Hi

beim heutigen Update wurde mir zwangsweise die enigma2-plugin-settings-henksat-19e_1.0+git31+33aa7a6-r0_all.ipk eingespielt. Keine Ahnung, ob da Abhängigkeiten in einem Plugin oder sonst wo geändert wurden - aber es wäre schön, wenn da mal jemand im Feed nachschaut, da ich mir nicht bei jedem Update meine Bouquets zerschiessen lassen möchte...

Ganz einfach - weil hier immer die Quellcodes vorliegen sollten (was man auch in dem zitierten Thread nachlesen kann). Also nix .mo, sondern .po ;)

There is a bug in ext4 files system using kernel 3.6.3 and maybe other kernels which have backported things (see http://heise.de/-1736310 or https://lkml.org/lkml/2012/10/23/690).
Is the new kernel for Xtrend images affected by this?

Naming with "_mipsel.ipk" can be misunderstood - maybe some users with old OpenPLi-2.1 want to use this... (i assume it's only PLi-3.0)

Was heißt hier "Please fix !"??
Ich erkenne hier zunächst einmal keinen direkten Fehler im OpenPLi, den man "fixen" müßte. Wie Du ja schreibst, wird bei einem Enigma-Neustart alles zügig weiter aufgenommen. Dass es bei einem kompletten Systemneustart mit dem gesamten Linux-Unterbau länger dauert, ist ja nun nicht ungewöhnlich, da passiert einfach auch mehr (und sei es bspw. nur das Wiedereinlesen/Verarbeiten des EPG-Cache, was schon etwas dauert).
Wenn überhaupt, würde ich an Deiner Stelle mal vorsichtig anklopfen und nachfragen, ob man hier etwas "optimieren" kann - der "Befehlston" kommt da glaube ich wenig gut an.
Und ganz abgesehen davon gibt's nach meiner Meinung andere Themen, die für die Entwickler 'nen kleinen Ticken wichtiger sind...

After a new Flash, PLI 2.1 or 3.0 will automatically restore the backup and reinstall all the plugins.

mmh, but please be careful: this is NOT suited to recover the addons (like cams, plugins and some skins) of a PLi2.1-backup into a fresh PLi3.0-installation!

Is this possible to backup  2.1 software and next flash to 3.0. If i dont like it back to 2.1 with previous setups, cams, channel lists etc.


Of course... search for the plugin 'BackupSuite' - it's also on the feed.

yes it is. But there have been too many changes lately, so building a new 2.1 today would not help much.

There are for sure users (etxx00,vu...) which haven't upgraded the PLi and don't want to do this, i.e. they want to use their approved OpenPLi-2.1.
In the fact of the errors in the recent compiled 2.1-image (14.9.2012) it's reasonable to build one last "good" image, isn't it?
