Flash Maxytec Multibox 4K

I notice that for the Maxytec Multibox it is two zip files for OpenPLi 7.2 (recovery_emmc and emmc) on the download page. How are they supposed to be used?

The instruction on the wiki doesn't mention that it is two, but it says "The flashing of the recovery image starts.". Does it mean that it is the recovery that should be flashed? How about the real OpenPLi image?

Terrestial channel search

I have now experiance with a terrestial box... tricky! I have actaully been on the way to write two long posts about it, but stop my self and try to understand. I think one part of the problem is bad signal (I normally don't use T at home). However here comes some questions:

At fresh installation I can do an automatic search (and leave the "all" setting, location). It comes up a page where I can select if tuner B should be searched. Yes, I want that. However I want also tuner C (tuner A is a sat and disabled).

1) Why isn't tuner C also possible to select?
I think I had it once, a couple of weeks ago and it did two search after each other.

2) Is it possible to select that tuner C should be the same as tuner B (i.e. same channel list)?
As it is possible with satellite tuners.

3) What does the "All" button in channel list view do?
I thought show all channels, no mater what. But I have actually got less channels after press All, but don't understand why.

PS. Or maybe it is enough to search only one tuner (sorry, I haven't tested that yet - need to record many events at the same time).

H7 Exceptions

During a couple of weeks testing of a Zgemma H7C. I have seen some crashes. Sometimes only in /var/log/messages and sometimes the box stop responding. I haven't had time to investigate these, but now I starting to write about it. Because now I have one situation I can recreate. After a factory reset I select to auto restore backup. The box will stop responding on OpenPLi logo and the following can be found in messages file:

Stability and different boxes

How is the stability of OpenPLi? Does it depend on box model?

Is some vendor better?
Have some vendor better support and help if problem arise?

For example how about Vu+ and Zgemma?

Support for Broadcom have been around for long time (from beginning), but HiSilicon is new. How about boxes with HiSilicon, are they stable?

PS. I have latest weeks tested an H7C box and have seen at least 3 exceptions (craches), in /var/log/messages.


Missing extended EPG in fallback tuner

I'm right now testing fallback tuner and missing text in EPG. The client stb is setup to import channels and EPG (and timer). When I look at EPG I only have a short description of events. This in all views that show EPG information. Every event have a name, description, extended description and more. The description shows up below the name (in most views). This is one row information and mostly number of episod, country and year. However normally it is more information below this. It can be several sentences with description. I believe this is called extended description. In my fallback tuner stb this text isn't visible, but on the server stb it is.

Is this something others also have, or have I missed some settings?
