Yeah, I remember that in the past it was only overwriting the first week and leaving alone the rest. But what if I don't want the rytec EPG for the first week either? Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Romance changed.

These German channels are the basic FTA German channels on 19.2 E.  Everybody can receive these if you have 19.2 E (most users in Europe).

I grab these in a separate file, and combine them later on with other files.  For the cable providers a lot of these channels also appear in the cable sections.  For the Benelux file, I had these German channels already a long time included in the XMLTV file.  At one point I decided (because of the cable channels)  to merge this small German file also with the French and Italian XMLTV files.

Removing them is fairly easy.  Just removing te filename them from the merge command, and they will be gone.

But I thought I do some user a favour to include them.

PS:  another reason I grabbed RTSUn and RTSDeux 3 times (in the french, german and italian file).  Now I grab them only once.

I don't know about others, but in my case downloading the french and/or italian package screwed up the EPG of the free german one's, e.g. instead of 4 weeks of channel EPG for "Das Erste" I only got 1 week of Rytec EPG. So unless I'm alone I'd vote for not including those channels anywhere else than the german package.

Thankfully, I could fix my problem by creating a custom channel list for the french and italian packs without german channels that I put on my receiver, so whatever the decision, I'm fine.

Don't know if anything was changed in the grabbing process or not, but looks like it's fine today.

Thanks.
