Hi Pli Devs,

Yes everybody can now build from there.

The GUI is ready to use for now, it looks that there are no bugs anymore.
I have created Makefiles in the SUBDIRS. So i think you can build from now.

How to Compile the daemon and clients.

- This version of GUI 0.6r2 is only compatibele on the last boblight-for-enigma2 from git.

- If you start boblight-enigma2 from terminal then you can't set a value from the GUI, Only if you start the lights from the GUI.

- Dont' t forget to add boblight-control to /etc/init.d

The newest release off boblight for enigma2 with a lot of new features and fixes,

Update: 27-12-2012, Boblight 0.5R15
Changes and Fixes:
- Added, Generate automatic a prefix for adalight
- Fixed, Boblight test over network
- Fixed integers by generating boblight.conf

Update: 26-12-2012, Boblight 0.5R14
Changes and Fixes:
- fixed sedu prefix (you can now set type to sedu in boblight.conf without prefix and postfix)
- new video buffer
- added support for brcm7358 and 7356
- added test function to test configfile
- better cpu performance
- buildin configcreator in gui
- network support, send values from xmbc or pc
- picture dump fixed, From telnet start boblight-enigma2 with -g
- fixed some errors in install script.
- a lot of little fixes
- fixed greenscreen (option in menu, Config creator, Type selection)
- fixed moodlamp and test over network
- fixed About screen
- set priority default to 20
- clean up code

What is boblight for enigma2:
- The user is the ability to define the zones in a conf-file, meaning the user is completely free to define the layouts him/herself.
- Many hardware can work with it.
Karatelight,Oktolight,Adalight,Atmolight,Sedu,Ibelight,Ikea Dioder,and more...
- It works on the most boxes with a broadcom chipset (like dm8000, dm800 dm500hd and more)
- You can use unlimited channels.

Start/Stop Boblight on telnet:
Start the grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control start
Stop the grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control stop
Restart grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control restart

Atmolight users
Atmolight users with 4 leds strips, can use the config in attachement.
Rename to boblight.conf and replace in /etc

Arduino (adalight) users
For arduino board you need some prefix.
You can create it with the Configcreator (if you choose adalight then it will automatic created) in the gui or with /home/boblight-addons/prefix leds

Update 0.5R9

- Cosmetic
- Better installation. (boblight.conf will be detected and not overwrited if exists)
- You can set a blacklevel in boblight.conf, so the light wil stay on by black pixels
- You can set gamma in plugin
- Lights go now off in standby (set standby mode to on in plugin)
- Threshold added in e2fronded plugin
- Startup/Sleep script fixed
- Wakeup problem fixed
- Blackbar detection (only top/bottom for now)

After installation, you need to start this script:
/usr/bin/boblight-dev.sh
This will install all packs you need.


Usefull tip, for a nice ambilight effect.

If you want the same effect as philips ambilight tv's.

Set the right hscan to 0 30 and left hscan to 70 100
Set the top vscan to 0 30 and the bottom hscan to 70 100

Now boblight wil get the average of the color in the zone from 0 to 30 %
This gives me better colors and smoother.

Set the blacklevel in boblight.conf to 0.1
And set the speed in plugin to 55.

Start/Stop Boblight without Plugin Frondend:

Start the grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control start
Stop the grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control stop
Restart grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control restart

Use other client, when grabber is sleeping

Start a boblight client on other box or pc.

On linux:
export DISPLAY=0:0
boblight-X11 -s iptodeamon -o value=10
On XMBC you can give a ip and port.

Test paterns:

Start boblightd -f in telnet

boblight-chase 1 ffcc gives you a chase (ctrl+c is cancel)
boblight-chase 3 ffcc gives you a rainbow
boblight-chase 4 ffcc gives you a rainbow
boblight-chase 5 ffcc00 gives you a color, this is orange/yellow
boblight-chase 5 cc0000 gives you a color, this is red

Rename to boblight.conf and replace in /etc

Don forget to edit /etc/boblight.conf. without a boblight.conf: no light.

Ik neem aan dat je nog feedback wil.
De leds gaan bij mij nog steeds niet uit bij standby.
Wel gaan ze na ongeveer 2 uur vanzelf uit :) en moet ik ze weer starten.

Ik heb momenteel de laatste versie die op ihad staat.


Deze gaat in standby :D

- Magic error in e2frontend fixed
- Sedu prefix update

After installation, you need to start this script:

New release Boblight Enigma2 0.5r4 (mip32el OE2.0). <<< PLI 3.0 Ready

Don't forget to restart te box when installation is complete.

If you get a error, that some ipks are not installed,
Then run /tmp/install.sh
And reboot.

This version don't work in pli 2.1 !!

Ik heb hem even aangepast, hij staat nu ook in de normale applicaties lijst, met icon.

Dacht, is wel makkelijk. Ik wil je ook wel helpen om het spoelen voor elkaar te maken. Mits je dat wil.
En misschien de afbeeldingen er in te verwerken.
