The depends on whether or not you need the feed. If you don't have a feed, you haven't got any of the optional packages.

Een SMR disk gebruikt shingled magnetic recording, waarbij de banen elkaar overlappen, net zoals dakpannen. Dat betekent dat je niet zo maar kunt schrijven, want dat zou de vorige baan overschrijven.

SMR disks bufferen dus data, om ze vervolgens in bursts naar disk te schrijven, van voren naar achteren ivm die overlap.

Dat gaat goet totdat de disk meer data binnen krijgt dan er tijdens die bursts kan worden weggeschreven, met data verlies tot gevolg (er wordt meer realtime data ontvangen dat er kan worden gebufferd).

Je moet echter nogal flink wat parallel opnemen met een moderne box om hier tegenaan te lopen, voor de gemiddelde gebruiker valt het allemaal wel mee...

In the plugin, the commandline is assembled here: https://github.com/O.../plugin.py#L913, perhaps that helps finding out which options there are, and what they do.

You are probably missing the "softcam-support" package, this was a bug in last weeks build, and was corrected tonight.

So a normal software update should give you an updated oscam package with the correct dependency.

De enige overlap die ik ken zijn de Engelse vrije zenders. Die zitten zowel in de Freesat EPG als de SKY (OpenTV) EPG.

Maar aangezien je voor SKY op een specifieke transponder moet zijn voor de EPG data, heb je die overlap alleen als je ook effectief en bewust die EPG binnen haalt. En dan zou je best Freesat uit kunnen zetten.

Geen idee, ik heb geen overlap, ik gebruik een custom channels xml voor EPG import om de zenders die ik nog mis van EPG te voorzien (bv de Omroep Zeeland stream, want niet meer op de sat).

Ik neem aan dat de laatste wint, want er is geen verschil in bron in de EPG cache voor zover ik weet (in tegenstelling tot now/next, dat wel apart van EPG wordt opgeslagen).

These things are controlled by the existence of a proc node in /proc/stb), so unless they've suddenly invented a new one, it should be covered.

The H9 (the only box I have here) doesn't have Brightless for the logo, only an on/off switch for standby and deep-standby.

The H9 does have a /proc/stb/lcd/oled_brightness node, which is weird because no OLED display. Changing it doesn't do anything, so it's not logo related.

I haven't used it, but from what I read on the internet, it needs the RTL8192CU driver, which is available for the Solo 2.

Note that there is also a Rev. B, which uses the RTL8188EU driver. Which is also available for the Solo 2, but might not support the USB ID for this revision (due to the old kernel version the Solo 2 uses).

The sf8008 had it's first release in 7.2, and is still in development, there are other things that don't work yet.

From what I can quicky see, there is no Kodi support in the manufacturers BSP, so they still have some work to do.

The Tenda W311u has USB ID 148f:3070, and requires the Ralink 2870/3070 driver.

It seems to be supported by the rt2800usb driver:

If you have manually installed it, it is not in the path.

So assuming you installed it in /media/usb, you need to use

/media/usb/ddrescue -v /media/hdd/movie /media/usb mapfile

The OE tree is unaltered, and included as a sub-repo. No nothing is changed. Note that 7.2-release is stil based on Pyro, so that is quite old.
