Maybe the download servers are busy and you've hit the rate limiter?

#1144133 Glamour Aura FHD skin - first public release canditate (RC3)

Absolutely true, but not always an option.

As they say, "If you can't do it how it should, you should do it how you can"... ;)

Ok.

As to the build, our develop images run with AUTOREV, so they always use HEAD when building from a git repo.

All release images are pinned on commit hash, so that work-in-progress doen't crash a release build. This means that if you want to release a new (and tested ! ) version, this pinning needs to be updated.

You can do that by sending a pull request to the release branch, with an update of this line: https://github.com/O...orefs.conf#L271

Now, why it is not available as a third party skin on the OpenPLI feeds as well? That's because

a. we never discussed it with the OpenPLI team

b. I didn't ask them

c. they didn't ask me back

d. it may happen one day, but it's their decision and I respect that!

Easy enough ;)

If you have a public repository we can build from, we can create a build recipe for it. Like we did for the skin PD1LOI made...

#1142301 Tunein radio plugin

It should be fine, never had an issue with it on my 10K. Maybe a loose or damaged cable / connector?

#1142017 Box Info in OpenWebif werkt niet

Posted by WanWizard on 24 December 2019 - 00:59

It was there due to a misconfiguration. There is no octagon image (yet).

#1136868 Build status (traffic light)

Posted by WanWizard on 11 December 2019 - 16:24

As a result of concurrency issues in the opkg package manager, we strongly advise you not to use the Software Update in OpenPLi 7.1. Instead, use the Flash image option, and choose a flash with backup.

For those that insist on updating, you can do that via the commandline:

opkg update
init 4
for f in `opkg list-upgradable | cut -f 1 -d " "`; do opkg upgrade $f; done
reboot

Update warnings are generic. But there aren't any updates for 7.2 either, they are the same as for 7.1.
