We are looking for people willing to test a change of media player.

Do you have:

• a box with a HiSicicon SoC
• which uses ServiceHisilicon (see info, about, it will say "ffmpeg, hardware accelerated")
• and supports Multiboot
• NOT installed serviceapp or other third-party players
• a large collection of downloaded media
• time available to test

Please give us a shout !

We will provide you with a test image for your box, which you can install in a multiboot slot, so you can compare the same media playing in the current nightly build image and the test image.

We need a report of media types that do play in the current Nightly Build, but no longer in the test image, including the output of mediainfo ( the CLI tool, not the plugin ! ) of the media file reported on.

• geen serviceapp of andere third-party players geinstalleerd
• een flinke collectie aan gedownloade media die je vaak kijkt
• voldoende tijd om te testen

Laat dan even van je horen.

De bedoeling is dat je dan een test image krijgt die je in een leeg multiboot slot kunt installeren, en dan een vergelijking maakt tussen de test image en een nightly build (develop) image, welke media werkt wel op de ene, en niet op de andere.

Voor media die niet af speelt op de test image willen we dan graag de output van mediainfo, zodat we kunnen kijken of we het probleem kunnen oplossen via installatie van optionele player componenten.
