Playing DVD movies / iso files freezes the system

Hi,

I have a fresh installation of OpenPLI 3.0 todays version, i install dreamexplorer & dvdplayer, reboot, and then start a movie. The movie plays for approx 5 seconds without sound, then everything freezes. I can telnet the box and command reboot to the box.
I have tried multiple iso files who all work on other images and on PC with VLC media player.

Anyone else who is experiencing this problem?

MKV movies work without problem.

I tried 6 aug release of 3.0 and same error.I have a DM500HD and 2TB hard drive connected on eSata.

DTS Downmix support

Hi,

I tried to search for DTS here on this board, but zero results. Therefore I'm asking if there is any support for DTS downmix on OpenPLI 3.0 (DM500HD).
I downloaded todays release of OpenPLI and I really like this image. But if there is no DTS downmix support, then I cannot use this image :-(.

If there is support, can someone create a "dummies" installation guide on how to do this?
I am able to telnet and do OPKG command and stuff, but thats my limits so far :-)
