It seems that way.

Adjusted the grabber.  Try again this afternoon.

#491492 [Poland] Complex changes

Posted by doglover on 16 May 2015 - 12:14

CANAL+ DISCOVERY HD (1:0:1:3A99:514:13E:820000:0:0:0:)
CANAL+ SPORT 2 HD (1:0:1:3B6A:12C:13E:820000:0:0:0:)

Should have EPG.  Checked both the XMLTV file and the channels file.

In addition to that <!-- CANAL+ SERIALE HD --> has epg of <!-- CANAL+ 1 HD --> and other way around (SD channels as well).

Corrected the grab,  These channels have been renamed from another channel.

#490511 Nordic files - Update

Posted by doglover on 8 May 2015 - 14:43

The Nordic EPG files received an update today.

(thanks to andy1)

These files are a bit special, due to the many shared channels between the different Nordic countries.  If you import you have to select the country of your choice (this is not changed).  You will get all the EPG for the Nordic channels, but with preference for your language for the shared channels.  But NRK will always be in Norwegian, YLE is Finnish etc....

There is no need to select another Nordic country.

Hopefully I did not make many mistakes.

Also there is problem with the Namespace.  This is one of the parameters in the service ref.

I will try to explain:

The satellite position of 1 W or 0.8 W (whatever you want to call it) consists out of 3 satellites:

Thor 5 at  0.71°W
Thor 6 at  0.77°W
Intelsat 10-02  at 0.94°W

Depending on which sat you select to scan the channels, the Namespace in the service ref will be E060000, E070000, E080000

All the channels are found from all three the satellites.  And are given the same Namespace.  In your receiver this does not matter.

However for importing the EPG the Namespace has to match.

To reflect this I have included all service references with all 3 the Namespaces, Making the channel list 3 times as long.\ as really needed.

#489531 [Culture Channels] Changes

Posted by doglover on 1 May 2015 - 08:14

My pr0n comes uncached, that's why I got culture channel subscriptions although the net is full of pr0n.

BTW:

You appear quite happy about enjoying the fruits of my work, e.g. having a samba server in 3 MB rather than 30-70 MB as before, but you refuse to move one finger yourself if there is a single fault which did not occur in my test-bed.

Just because one part-time channel is not having a limited EPG.  It is having EPG, only it is not limited to the channels broadcast hours, but it gives the full whack.

Sorry guys.....

This sort of accusations will not improve your status.

Do you know how much time it takes to keep the EPG coming.  If left alone the XMLTV would slowly die.

#487818 FTP Client (not as a plugin)

Posted by doglover on 18 April 2015 - 19:19

DROPBEAR_PASSWORD doesn't work or you didn't try?

Worked and not.

I got this message back:

This service allows sftp connections only.

So yes the dropbear method worked.  But SCP is not allowed.

#487608 FTP Client (not as a plugin)

Posted by doglover on 17 April 2015 - 13:11

The ftpput (and get) does not do wildcards. So I had to resort to writing a .sh file for doing the job.

However on hindsight this is not a bad thing, as I have much more control on what is going on.

To give you an idea about the .sh file:

#!/bin/sh
date
k=1
FILE=/hdd/epg/Filelist.txt
while read line;do
        echo "Line # $k: $line"
        if k < 17 then
            /hdd/epg/busybox-mipsel ftpget -v --user=xxxxxxx --pass=xxxxxxx IP-adres /hdd/epg/$line /ready/$line
        fi
        /hdd/epg/busybox-mipsel ftpput -v --user=xxxxxxx --pass=xxxxxxx1 IP-adres1 /$line /hdd/epg/$line
        /hdd/epg/busybox-mipsel ftpput -v --user=xxxxxxx --pass=xxxxxxx2 IP-adres2 /$line /hdd/epg/$line
        /hdd/epg/busybox-mipsel ftpput -v --user=xxxxxxx --pass=xxxxxxx3 IP-adres3 /$line  /hdd/epg/$line
        let k=k+1
done < $FILE
date

Executing this, and piping the output to a file, gives me also a nice log file.

PS:  the if loop is in there because I do not need to download all the files (only part)

#485708 End of XMLTV Import?

Posted by doglover on 7 April 2015 - 10:53

Answer from Kodi:

This does not appear to be due to our official version of IPTV Simple Client. The version of that add-on that we use in Kodi has EPG cacheing turned on by default and will abort an EPG download attempt after 3 failed tries. I believe the traffic you are seeing is due to a modified version of the add-on that is distributed from another site, which has these options turned off and is pre-configured to use your EPG URLs, which is why so many 404 requests come in.

I will attempt to find the people who are distributing the modified version and ask them to make the changes you have requested. Until then, blocking the Kodi user agent is probably the best way to deal with this.

So a rogue, pimped version produced by a moron!!!!!

And everbody suffers.

As long as this version exist,  I cannot publish the sources.  Because everything will start over.

#484306 Update Rytec Sources

Posted by doglover on 30 March 2015 - 12:48

Pls. stop by asking me by PM for the new information.

In the past I gave this info freely.  But it got me in terrible trouble with the webmasters of the different websites.

All the info is in the current versions of XMLTVimport and Crossepg.  Both these plug-ins are maintained and up-to-date.

(If the plug-in is not up-to-date in the image you are using contact your image builder, and ask him to make contact with me, with full disclosure of their credentials)

So the solution is simple.  Update the plug-ins. And if you have an older system, it is time to upgrade your box to the most recent image.  In these recent images the plug-ins are included or in the feed.

#482330 End of XMLTV Import?

Posted by doglover on 20 March 2015 - 13:47

For XMLTV plugin the rewrite should not be that dramatic.  The plug-in can import local files.

If the existing torrent client could be configured to download the needed XMLTV files each day via a torrent, and upon completion of the download start the XMLTV import plug-in, the problem is solved.

Of course we will need to construct a set of torrents and provide them one way or another.

#480190 [Poland] broken epg

Posted by doglover on 10 March 2015 - 10:39

This channel is not grabbed from teleman.  So expect some differences in the description.

It looks that the source I am using is shortening the description.  I will check if something can be done.

#476713 Rytec UK XMLTV down?

Posted by doglover on 19 February 2015 - 09:08

The World of Satellite is not yet on line.  (It is up, but I cannot upload to it at the moment)

When it is back online, you could re-instate the old sources file.  Or just leave this one and do not bother.  You still have 3 different website to download from.

Or install this one: http://forums.openpl...t-and-crossepg/
