softcam = cccam 2.1.1

Ik heb dit probleem op beide dreambox DM600. (1 met pli Jade final release, andere met een recente nightly build version)

Dit heeft vroeger toch gewerkt volgens mij.

sorry, idd vergeten te vermelden, gaat idd om zenders op dezelfde transponder.
Ik weet van buiten ook niet meer welke softcam ik juist geïnstalleerd heb, zal dit deze avond ook nog proberen te posten.

I tested the 'null modem' kabel on my working Dreambox DM600 PVR, and I could not connect to it. (I have 2 dreambox DM600 PVR's)
So today, I bought a new null modem kabel, and YES, I could connect to the broken Dreambox.

I was able to flash the dreambox and everything seems to working fine again :)

I did try Dreamup today, but no luck, I can not connect.
Also with Putty (Serial), I just get a blanc screen :-((

Is it worth sending the dreambox for repear ?
Dreambox is just over 2 years old.

I could ping the dreambox on the IP, but could not telnet to it.

Now, things are getting worse. Can not save IP.
I think this is a HW problem. I get different error messages.
Power disconnecting/connecting with holding power button does not work, it just start ups.
I can not save any file (downloads), create bouquets, save new network settings...
Could it be a RAM malfunction ? Any way of testing the HW ?
Or corrupt core files ?
What is the best way to get a dreambox fixed ? (or to expensive ?)
