Zgemma H9 Combo - Internal HDD stops recovery

Good morning,

I have three Zgemma H9 Combos and this week I've been upgrading them all to Open PLi 8.1, it went well for two of them but the third box would not go into recovery mode or allow for the flash of a recovery unless I disconnected the internal drive. It is strange because one of the other boxes has an identical Samsung 500Gb internal drive and does not exhibit this issue when going through either recovery process.

However this particular box is one of the earlier one's and I seem to remember the Open PLi team provided me with a script to get the drive mounted correctly. The main issue was that the drive wouldn't go to sleep, which was explained to me as a box hardware issue, the script was a workaround. Its worked fine ever since, but I vaguely remember the mount didn't look quite right to me.

Is there a way of checking what is causing this issue?

Zgemma H9.2H SE - Stuck in Bootloop

Good Afternoon,

Today, I received a Zgemma H9.2H SE which booted no problem with the factory image. I used (Power On + Hold Power button on remote) to force the box into the boot menu. Then chose to flash Open PLi 8.x from the online menu, it successfully installed and tried to reboot. It wouldn't reboot and is stuck in a loop.

I then downloaded (below) and tried to install the Open PLi 8.0 / 8.1 recovery and emmc .zip images from a USB stick - all are reported 'Invalid image'? Tried different USBs, different formatting and the images are still 'Invalid'.

I've tried reflashing different images using from the online menu and none will boot, the box keeps looping with the 'Hisilicon' screen with the front light changing between white and red?

Zgemma H9 Combo - No Radio background

Good Morning,

I hope the forum is well?

I have just received my fourth Zgemma H9 Combo and reflashed it with Open PLi 8.0, replacing the inferior factory image. All of these receivers fail to display the Open PLi background when running despite it being enabled in the menu. The screen is completely black when playing a radio station.
