#888562 Howto build unofficial pli for your unsupported receiver

Posted by Beeker on 19 May 2018 - 11:17

Problem with OpenWebif is solved.

Before you run an update.

Do:

git checkout meta-openpli/recipes-openpli/e2openplugins/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bb
cd pli-extras
rm recipes-openpli/enigma2-plugins/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bb
git checkout *
cd ..

In case of error, report.

Edit:

Rename the file to

enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bb

Not

pli-extras/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bb

Too late for edit post.

As workaround for now.

Be sure the following files are deleted.

meta-openpli/recipes-openpli/e2openplugins/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bb
meta-openpli/recipes-openpli/enigma2-plugins/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bbappend

Rename the

pli-extras/recipes-openpli/enigma2-plugins/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif-extras.bb

file to:

pli-extras/enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif.bb

Replace the

pli-extras/recipes-openpli/images/openpli-enigma2-image.bbappend

With the one attached with this post (remove the .txt extension).

No..No need for rebuild. It's just a warning. dm7080 has that warning also. No problem.

Image is ready. But still some work to do. Some things are lost during switch pyro => develop branch.

I need to do a few tests before commit to meta-dream.

I'm busy with it.. It's a long time ago i build for dm820. Nobody cares about that box.

And we don't know if the box does boot at all.

Hold on..

I'm running build dm820 now. Completely from scratch(even without source).

It's running now for 20 minutes or so, no fetch failures at all.

It will be ready in +/- 40 minutes (i'm now compiling kernel).

And of course recipe for libogg 1.3.3

exctract and replace in openpli-oe-core/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-multimedia/libogg/

It's source code, so rebuild.

I don't have libogg 1.3.2, but libogg 1.3.3 should be no problem.

Same story, extract and copy both files to sources directory.

openpli-oe-core/sources.

Sorry my fault

If the makefile can't find the skin_display_dm900.xml or skin_display_dm920_xml file, it falls back to the skin_display_default.xml. Which is wrong.
