I can't get past the blue landscape screen :-/ Any ideas?

When I searched to find a solution I saw lots of references to a crashlog. I'm unable to find one on my system. Do I have to have a hdd to get a crashlog?

I forgot to mention the version: OpenPLi-4.0-beta-vusolo2-20140521_usb

...

^^^ this is the cause,
you need to switch language to (regular?) Norsk for now

it looks that bokmal-norwegian only has been added to language.py, and translation file itself been forgotten to add;
if one can provide nb.po, the issue would be rather easy to fix...

Yay!

I guess that explains why I can't change skins either. I'll just have the tuner on english from now on then. The kids learn fast anyway :)

Changed from "nb_NO" to "en_EN" in /etc/enigma2/settings, rebooted and it worked. Thanks a lot! :D

I think the normal norwegian translation can be copied to "Norsk Bokmål".

I think the normal norwegian translation can be copied to "Norsk Bokmål".

hmm, if they're interchangeable/?/, what is the rationale for having two norwegian languages then?
I thought they had to differ substantially, since there was request(s) for adding the second type? (sorry for possibly lame questions, I'm not familiar with this at all...)

and maybe just remove the bokmal from Language.py, and call it a day? ;)

"Norsk" and "Norsk Bokmal" are interchangeable in most translations.

The reason for having "Norsk Bokmal" as a locale is political. The "other camp", Norsk Nynorsk (new-norwegian), didn't want to be percieved as a secondary language so they didn't want the bokmal-camp monopolizing "NO". So "NO" became "nb_NO" and "nn_NO".

ok, I'm a bit confused...
so, this 'old fashioned' no.po in openpli repo is actually a Bokmal?
http://sourceforge.n...r/tree/po/no.po
-
edit
oh, seems that I got it -
to be 100% (politically) correct, we shouldn't have 'general' Norsk (no.po), and instead introduce Norsk Bokmal (nb.po) ans Norsk Nynorsk (nn.po), right?

I think that's correct. But I'm not sure if there are any consequences to removing no.po. Symlink from nb.po maybe? :)

Hi,

You don't have to symlink to a .po file but to a .mo file.

If you symlink to a .po file instead of .mo file then your box won't boot.
