Sky UK EPG is missing though xmltv importer seems to be downloading the source correctly (about 38 000 events from source Rytec UK XMLTV are being dowloaded) . EPG of all other sources after the download are displaying ok, but Sky Uk epg is missing. Any idea how/where to check where ´s the problem lies ? Thank ´s in advance.

I'm having the same issue. German EPG is fine, Sky UK EPG is not displaying.

Here the same problem, although I think that there are also less sources downloaded then before

Same here.. Is it possible, that all the sky channels service references are changed and it's not updated in the rytec.channels.xml??I'm having the same issue. German EPG is fine, Sky UK EPG is not displaying.

My mistake.
Something wrong with the conversion of the file.
Grabbing occured normally, but later in the process an old (not updated) file has been taken. So data was outdated.
Will be normal tomorrow

Thanks for looking and fixing!
So tomorrow, will it be automatically OK or do I have to do something myself?

It should automatically be fixed by your automatic update, but it depends on what time you have it set to do the import. They do their updates at 4am CET, my auto-import is at 6am GMT.
If you do yours before 4am CET, just do a manual import tomorrow and hopefully all will be fine

I do not use Crossepg, so i do not know what has gone wrong here.
The xmltv file contains valid data. (Checked this).
The only thing I can advise is try again (after a complete restart of the box)

I've switched over to VTI Image 4.1. Unfortunately, the Problem is back again. Importer downloads and imports about 30k events for German and UK sources. It then displays the German sources fine but all the uk source epg data is not being displayed... Any ideas?
mrstoors 22 Feb 2012
[Solved] Apparently, VTI 4.1 ships with a satellites.xml which has 28.4 (284) set for Astra 2 instead of 28.2 (282) which is what the XMLTV data needs. Change the setting in the satellites.xml for Astra 2 from 284 to 282, then do a rescan of your satellites. (You might also need to check your tuner configuration.) Also the user bouquets will probably need adjusting. However, then, the XMLTV importer seems to work.
Ampersand 22 Feb 2012
Still nothing. XMLTV does not work on 2 different boxes. XEPGDB works fine so must be something wrong with plugin or latest images. *db files have been created with content inside.

Start with posting the import log.
Data is available and websites are up. If you do nit get import something else should be wrong.

Open the XMLTV import plug-in (blue button)
XMLTV import
Press the info button (or epg button on a VU+)
Now you can see the log.
The log can be saved with the blue button. And will be located in the /tmp/ folder
You have to fish it out there with a PC.
Of course I will need a log after you have performed an import (either manual or the automatic)
