This is known and we are looking for a solution, for now you could just throw away the whitelist recipe and adjust the softcams-enigma2-meta.bb by removing the whitelist line there as well.

That has been fixed, but you still get this if your sstate cache is from before the fix.

You can reset it with a bitbake cleanall of the package.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Ubuntu 24.04/24.10 not suitable to build develop or release-9.x.

Downgrade Ubuntu or build from scarthgap branch

My second buildserver is a 2024 system, the only branch on that machine I'm building from is scarthgap which runs like a charm with Ubuntu2024.

Why not?

Because of the subprocess errors.

I'm building from scarthgap only.

There's no fix yet for other branches.

But if you have fix, please post.

Ok, I have to build from  scarthgap

I found it in the Github

https://github.com/O.../tree/scarthgap

But I cannot clone it to the PC. How can I fix that?

Mmm I think I found it....

I changed to scarthgap, but when I start I get immediately an error

Your branch is up to date with 'origin/scarthgap'.

Delete build directory in openpli-oe-core dir. Probably you have some leftovers from develop branch.

Instead of git pull, git submodule --init, update etc. Just run

make update

How much space is needed to build the release image and the develop?
Can it be compiled on arm cpu - ampere CPU?

This is a bit weird, because enigma2 is AUTOREV

ERROR: Fetcher failure: Unable to find revision c8c63d8cbc8e33c8d1dd1429329851f5a6295b19 in branch scarthgap even from upstream

Did you change something?

Seems your network is down.

AUTOREV fetches the commit hash during recipe parse when starting the build.
