IMHO not. Unless you recorder the channel earlier.

Hi
I have recorded a program and used the slow option but the program is slightly slowed down,
Is there a way I can slow down the program as much as I want?

Afaik there is no driver support for slowing down ( like 0.5x ) but only to speed up ( like 2x, 4x, etc).

This is probably related to the fact this is not an analog tape whos speed you can vary, but a sequence of frames, so slowing down would mean changing from 25fps to 20fps, which is (technically) quite a complicated thing to do.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

You can pause the channel (using timeshift) and then play with 0.5x speed. IIRC it is one of the default speed steps.

Hi
I have found a way to slow down the recorded video as much as you want.
1 The first time you click on slower, the speed will be 0.67x.
Second click 0.50x,
Third time click 0.33x,
4th time click 0.25x,
Fifth time click 0.12

Hi

When you open the recorded video through VLC, click on playback and you will come to the option speed, then you will reach the option slower.

We're about STB's running OpenPLi here, VLC is a desktop application, so not very relevant.

I honestly don't know.

If I see code like this (https://github.com/O...nerics.py#L1652) it suggests it is possible, although setSlowMotion() is only implemented in servicedvb, not in servicets.

But I have no idea how to active it, with which remote key.

For satellite channel you can use trick with Timeshift. Run timeshift and then you can do same with it, because then it is file too...

You need to have configured a timeshift recording path ( menu, setup, system, expert settings, recording paths ).

I still would like to know how you then activate slow-motion. If I pause, and timeshift start recording, I can play, fast-forward or fast-reverse, but have no clue which buttons active slow-motion?
