I don't understand why are you willing to watch live channels in slow motion, this will requires that your box will buffers all the stream to allow you to watch live channel in slow motion and this is impossible.
So this make sens that it only work with already recorded channels or in timeshift since the buffer is then done on disk.
Enable permanent timeshift if you really need this feature. A timeshift is just a recording that is played live or with a timeshift.

That is interesting, if I press <<, it reverses at x2, x4, x8, etc, and if I press >>, it forwards x2, x4, x8, etc... No option to play something in slow-motion ?

The film must be paused. Then >> is 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and then >> is not x2, x4, x8 ...

Finally just an answer to my question!
If I do that, << doesn't do anything, seems to do slow motion forward, but the skin doesn't display it. So that's something needs fixing.

Then you press >> without pausing it first.
That was the mistake I made too.

I@ims mentioned that you can do the same with direct satlahit channel,I don't understand why are you willing to watch live channels in slow motion, this will requires that your box will buffers all the stream to allow you to watch live channel in slow motion and this is impossible.

I thought it would be good to learn this skill too.

PLiFullHD displaying 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 for me.
I run Scarthgap test images, using DarkOS.

Like it has been said several times, you can not alter anything with a live broadcast, that is the definition of live, it has a fixed timing.
So if you want to play a live broadcast in slow-motion, you must have timeshift configured, after which you can press Pause to stop the live broadcast. After which you can use >> to start slow-motion, while it is paused.

If I don't press pause it presses << 2x 4x 8x 16x 32x last 128x the video speeds up like a ship,Then you press >> without pausing it first.
That was the mistake I made too.
If I press pause and then press this<<, the video starts slow burning at /8,
When I press < it returns to its original speed,

If you press pause, and it pauses, it works.
In general, if you have local storage for recordings, no configuration is needed. If you don't, or it can be found, you need to configure the recording location ( menu, setup, system, expert settings, recording path ).

If you have a local disk, that's fine. So pressing pause should freeze the broadcast and start the timeshift recording.

When you access your USB did you go with the path: /media/hdd or via the path /media/usb
You need to specify the path where your USB is mounted for timeshift to be effective. So if you have nothing attached to /media/hdd then you probably have no timeshift (with you current setup mentionned on the screenshot).
